anyone knows where to get this??my tv only has component,composite,vga and DVI input,i was thinking of getting this adaptor,to get ready for PS3

So PS3 will have the analog outputs ( composite, svideo & component) and HDMI that's it? Where's VGA?

You can find them lots at Low Yat Plaza. But you have to think about the HDCP compliancy as well as you will be connecting via a digital connection, is your TV HDCP compliant? Otherwise , you will get a blank screen on your TV for failing that compliancy.

I bought an HDMI to DVI cable from the IT Hypermart in Lowyat (the huge shop at the top floor). I can't remember how much i bought it for. Maybe around RM100.
However, like string said, only later i found out about this whole HDCP thing and i discovered i couldn't output the PS3 to my monitor thru DVI. Got blank screen only. |
