if i were to get an mtb, i'm gonna limit it to 5k.

reality check; gonna need at least 50k cash by the end of this year to move into a new home. can't splurge for now

why not spez? because they purposely fark their customers. dafuq why they need to glue the crown race onto the steerer? why? because they can force customers to buy spare parts from them ONLY, and they charge at least double the retail price for the same item elsewhere.

how so? 5k not realistic?

ok. i will leave my plastic money at home when i go out with my friend this weekend. and my atm card as well. in fact i will only bring rm50 with me.

based on true story:

- VP components produced a headset VP-A62A
- spez sourcing for a headset... finds VP components
- spez ppl wanna fark customers, use cane creek top cap to disguise VP headset
- spez thinks thats not farked up enough, too paranoid scared if customers buy spare parts elsewhere.
- so the spez ppl decides to glue the crown race onto the steerer
- when customers check out cane creek website, they get the supposedly equivalent set to be used
- turns out, cane creek has different bearing and crown race thickness.

ya lorr... check polygon's, 5K can get the chromoly with SLX/XT oredi. damn... dafuq man...

why IC? we can sell or trade in our IC for rm20k?

- spez sells the BEARINGS ONLY (exclude top cap, compression ring, crown race) for RM198


last time paper cakap ppl jual IC for 20k. now lagi mahal ka?
