my external HDD (western digital 2.5") can read, but I can't read my friend external HDD (seagate 2.5")

Try to clear dalvik cache.

Yes some recovery allow to mount internal sd. Or you can use external sd. Any old 2gb one will do since rom is only 1gb++ or less if stripped down or aosp.

Yes you can but i dunno what the side effect gonna be. Please take precaution cos i got some bad experience with tweaking/playing with the stock keyboard in the past (meaning a few years back. dunno if it is still applicable or just me paranoid). Didn't joytest gave a free app that can also set the default keyboard at startup yesterday.

the problem is that sometimes, my default keyboard (which was Swype 1.4 Beta and now Swype 1.5) gets automatically and non-user selected to the default keyboard.

this occurrence prevails in my LINE, Whatsapp and even Messaging apps without prejudice.
