Restoring using what? User apps and messages are fine.
*
Well I backed up in cwm recovery menu. I was told it backups every single thing. So I stared to clean and then install rom which cleared everything. Can backup those apps back to this new rom?

CWM backup does have an option to restore data partition which contains your app but i dunno if it will cause you to go into a bootloop. I never use it. TB all the way for me.
*
So if go into cwm recovery menu and restore. It will restore all my backed up apps to this current ROM or will it revert everything back to stock ROM?

Guys I backed up phone in cwm recovery menu before I flashed ROM. After I did full clean of phone I flash ROM and g apps. Then I clear cache and reboot phone. So technically my backup is still there right? But when I enter cwm again to restore and advanced restore it doesn't seem to be there anymore?

Did you copy your CWM backup to the SDcard or to your PC as insurance? You may need to move the folder up one level coz the default CWM file manager is extremely basic.
*
Most likely backed up to sd card. I tried restore and advanced restore, it says no file found... :/

If your card is exFAT it will not be seen by CWM. You need PhilzTouch or TWRP IINM.
*
Owh sry sry i dunhav sd card i backed up to internal itself i think

OIC now....PA/AOSP 4.2.2 folder structure is DIFFERENT IIRC ........ ooops bro your stuff is probably gone.... so copy over from your PC again, but I think you risk screwing up your PA ROM when it is looking for a different folder.
*
well yeah my stuff is gone, i dont see anything in backup folders. owh well but why is it taking up so much space? i have like 1.42gb free of 10+gb. I barely have any apps...D:

AOSP 4.2 have partition off your internal sd thus it will be smaller than stock rom. Also if you choose to format internal sd when you wipe the rom your cwm backup will be deleted.
*
i find it odd in sd maid that it can find apps that were previously in my phone before i did full wipe and flash rom. it cleared some of those apps and now got 5gb available compare to 1gb available earlier on

Your obb folder seems to be remapped, but it is consuming almost 9Gb. That's your CWM backup.
*
in my biggest files in sd maid almost all arein mb's. most of them are in weird nums and alphabets together and is in /storage/emulated/0/clockwordmod/mods/( random num and alphabet)

Yes that is how CWM stores the backup. That is why many now have moved to TWRP.
*
so what do i do with so many of them? they're all in megabytes. Delete them?

You can if you want, if you want a completely clean slate, just thrash your CWM backup.
