QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ May 4 2013, 10:27 PM) So if go into cwm recovery menu and restore. It will restore all my backed up apps to this current ROM or will it revert everything back to stock ROM? Restore - Restore your old rom Advanced - Restore Data (something like that dun remember the exact commands) - Restore your apps and data with a risk of boot loop.

QUOTE(n8210 @ May 4 2013, 07:29 PM) Well, i got the phone boot up fine now, but after more research i discover actually it is the imei number being damaged and thus DG does not recognize it and so I get "Not registered on network error". How to restore which eps backup? Or how to repair this imei issue? Bro just checking, were you able to close your Yoobao securely after dismantling it? I recall your pic showing 6 retention clips.

Guys I backed up phone in cwm recovery menu before I flashed ROM. After I did full clean of phone I flash ROM and g apps. Then I clear cache and reboot phone. So technically my backup is still there right? But when I enter cwm again to restore and advanced restore it doesn't seem to be there anymore?

Did you copy your CWM backup to the SDcard or to your PC as insurance? You may need to move the folder up one level coz the default CWM file manager is extremely basic. Nobody here has experienced that. Did you get a sealed unit from your seller? At worst make a factory reset. That should help.

That should help. Funny when my dealer told me that he 'opened' the box before selling it to make sure that it is a real phone from the supplier. Although the seals were intact, the box's seal was broken for 'inspection'. Thank god no issues so far *cross fingers*
