I guess you need a programmer to write an app for that devices so that server can remotely control it.

The 50 IP that you are referring are within the local area network?

The link in your post is some sort of network repeater.

The LAN cable has the length limit (Cat5 -100 meters (328 feet)) which if it is too long, the data signal will lost.
So the function of a network repeater is to enhance the data signal in a long LAN cable.
