 How much you spend on nutrition supplement ?

Hi,... as title said...

Ok, I'm just an ordinary school boy lol.... but will jog and play sports sometimes..

this few day i start searching on interweb for "bodybuilding"

hmmmm... seems like if i want to build a tone body.... protein is important...
and i don't make meal, and no time(study)
so i look into protein supplement .....

i did a little research on protein (concentrate,iso,hydro)

at last when i almost going to purchase muscletech nitro tech (rm180)

my friend tell me that if i take 2scoop a day.. i will have to buy another one after 3weeks.,...
and the website still suggest people 4scp a day.... means about 2 weeks i will need to purchase again ?...
my weekly pocket money it's only rm50... for breakfast and lunch in school (school time 7:30am till 3pm)

so you guys have any suggestion if thr anyway to get cheaper or suggest some good protein ? for 18yrs old student...
maybe rm100 a month ?

Oh yea,,,,, i found that some forumer in bodybuilding.com
discuss about this topic too...

but they say they can get 5lbs protein at about 30dollar which is about rm120+ only...

you guys have any idea ?

Creatine Monohydrate RM70 for 3 month.
Muscle Pharm Assault RM120 for 2 month.

So average RM200/month. BUT... solid food more than RM600 per month. rclxub.gif

not exactly 1 serving after workout, if you didnt hit your macro, you need more of them

if you're short of fund, dont buy Muscletech, On, Dymatize, are all cheaper thn Muscletech

4 scoop of whey per day is too much la, unless you're >300lbs.

okay, maybe >200 instead.

if you follow the 1g per lbs rule,
4 scoops will give you approx 100g, and your normal 3 meals per day will give you another 100g..in fact 100g from real food is considered as very little.

one can easily exceed the rule with 4 scoops.

Really kinda depends on how much food youre eating isnt it? There is no specific rule telling you how much protein you should take although 1g per lbs is a good start.

As for ts, forget about supps and just eat as much protein as u can. Bodybuilding isnt a cheap sport and 50 a week plus meals isnt gonna cover it tbh.

cheapest good brand protein for me is Dymatize Whey Isolate 10lbs for rm260..this will last me around 3 month sometime more.. other supplement u need..creatine monohydrate 1kg cost around rm100 this can last the whole year. i think thats all u need right there...got extra money buy more food.

if you are a student with a tight budget, i suggest you go with the basics only - protein and creatine.

chicken breast 1 kg around 12 bucks can give you around 230 gram proteins...
eggs are cheap....

....bb is not an expensive sports only when you are not picky
