I'll be heading over to HKG this coming Thursday. Any idea what's the weather like? I've been monitoring online but I just thought it would be great to have comments from people over there. Basically what i'm worried of is the thunderstorms that will really wreck any ground movement plans I've made.

I'm gonna be really honest, I've not made any itinerary but basically i'm on a 4d3n trip and since this is a free trip, i'm just gonna take it really really easy.

My plans:-

Thursday - Arrival at 2 plus and taking the AEL to Hong Kong station and thereafter shuttle bus to the hotel. I plan just to take a short nap and possibly head to the pool for a dip. At night i'll prolly wander in the streets of Central/Causeway Bay/Times Square.

Friday - Kowloon in the afternoon and possibly head to the peak after dinner for some sightseeing.

Saturday - Ok i'm running out of ideas.

Sunday - Check out after breakfast and head to airport.

Any suggestion on where to hang out in Hong Kong, anywhere except Disneyland.

Whoever that's going to HKG this few days, pack your umbrellas please. I was there last week, Thursday to Sunday, it rained every single day, from morning to night and night to morning. I think it stopped intermittently every now and then. However, it's mostly drizzly, not like the type of tropical thunderstorm we get over here. You may dress lightly, t shirt and shorts are perfectly acceptable unless you don't wanna get your legs wet. But trust me, you MUST bring an umbrella if you wanna spend most of your time outdoors.
