Will be going Hong Kong on oct 10. Just a quick one, from airport to mong kok, which option should i opt for? Im travelling in a group of 4, would itbe cheaper if i :

1) Take taxi and shared by 4
2) Buy 3 days unlimited travel + airport transfer but burn the return tix to airport since we only will be back after the 6th day.
3) Shuttle bus

Advice?

For option 2, you will not burn the return tix to airport. You still can use it on 6th day for airport express. The three days unlimited on mrt will end after 3 days from your first usage. If you still want to use it for day 4/5/6, you may reload day pass or just normal reload. Keep the ticket for airport express on 6th day.

Thanks for the answer. I am much clearer now. I will reach in the afternoon, guess i will go for the package since the return tix to airport can be use!

Going to be in HK for 6 days, so got some time for seafood. Between lamma island and sai kung, which one is more worthy for a visit? I only can get choose one place. Main priority- cheaper and nicer seafood! And please recommend some good and reasonable seafood restaurant?

Just wanna ask if i took the ferry from kowloon hk-macau terminal to macau i will end up in taipa terminal or macau terminal? Vice versa, if i took the terminal at the harbour near Venetian (Taipa...i Assume), will i end up at kownloon terminal or sheung wan terminal?

there is one travel agency at Mongkok... called Ding Ding

i bought from them da ticket for Disney, Ocean Park, NgongPing Crystal Cable Car, The Peak Tram, Madame Tussaud (Peak) and Sky Terrace 428 (Peak)

btw i dont recommend buy Peak combo ticket from them... tongue.gif
when u reach at Tram Station (Peak base) there r 3 different queue line
1) Pre-purchase Ticket, short queue... but still need to queue very long
2) Buy on the spot (Normal Ticket), super long queue
3) Buy on the spot (Combo Ticket), express way, no queue brows.gif

ps: combo ticket is Ticket for The Peak Tram, Madame Tussaud and Sky Terrace 428
*
Woo...means buy combo tickets on the spot is even better? That clears up my dilemma to buy online.

Thanks!

Second thing, am about to go hong kong, did some research on the street that i should explore as below:

1) Sport Shoes Street 波鞋街
2) Fa Yuen Street North 花園街
3) Sai Yeung Choi Street South 西洋菜街
4) Temple Street 廟街
5) Ladies Street 女人街

May I know which one could be cluster together so i can cover in one shot? Which one I should visit after Star Avenue location?

if your hotel is listed or nearby the listed hotels here you can take the free airport express shuttle bus
www.mtr.com.hk/eng/getting_around/complom_free_bus.html
*
Since we are talking about transportation here, 4 pax travelling, if i plan to take taxi direct from airport to hotel in mong kok, will it be safe to estimate max HKD 300 for the trip, is there any extra charge for 4 piece of luggage? (we got one luggage each...not big type though)

You Macau itinerary seems lacking. How bout trying out the local food? Btw Yung Kee is overrated. Since youre going to Ngong Ping, why not go to Tai O for nature? Fishing village and hiking.
*
Macau itinerary i havent really plan cause i read somewhere that most of the tourist attraction is in Senado Square including the church, pork bun, portugist stuff and etc. So i guess I will walk around that area when im There?

Yung Kee overrated? I heard his century egg is something that should be in the must-eat list. haha

Tai O nature should be put before I go up Ngong Ping 360 or after? Issit far from the cable car place or mrt?

*
Oh, so lets say, i reach tung chung, i take cable car to go up ngong ping, after walk there i take a bus to Tai O village, lunch and maybe dinner then take bus all the way to citygate for shopping till night then back. Does it sounds like a plan? haha

Why don't you go to Grand Lisboa first and then Venetian? Grand Lisboa is on the same side with Senado Square.
*
Yeah thats what i plan to do, but grand lisboa most probably i will just walk around look look see see, spend more time in venetian cause more things to do there.

How long is the water dancing show in macau lasted? If i were to go venetian first, then catch the 8pm show, can i make it to harbour to catch the last ferry back to hong kong?

the show is slightly less than 2 hours, it's ok if you wanna go to venetian first, but make sure you be at the jetty at 10 or latest 10.10 like that. but quite risky.... you might have to queue to wait for bus once the show is over... i guess it's safer to watch the 5pm show.
*
yeah but that particular macau day only have 8pm slot. Guess i have to give that up.

Thanks

Correct me if im wrong, there will be 2 harbour in macau:
a) Macau Taipa Ferry Harbour
b) Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal

If i wanted to go macau and start my journey, i should stop at macau outer harbour cause its nearer to Senado Square, and since I end my macau journey in Venetian, i should depart from macau taipa ferry horbour to back to Hong kong.

hmm, you may be right, but I used turbojet, and I go back to kowloon, the jetty is only 5 minutes walk from my hotel. so I opt for turbojet. No point for me to come back after 12am to central and I can't take MTR back to TST.
yes, there are several harbours in Macau, I presume you can do that, but make sure you buy the right ticket and the ferry schedule. I'm not sure about the ferry back to Hong Kong though. I took turbojet back to kowloon.
*
Ya, i need to get back to kowloon also. But for turbojet to kowloon i still can take from taipa harbour which is nearer to Venetian right?

I dont think there is a direct free bus from harbour to senado square, unless it if offered by those hotels near that area such as sintra, royal. Need to make a 'transit' at the casino/hotel, and then take another bus to senado.
*
i heard that too, thats why my plan is to take grand lisboa free shuttle to the hotel, then walk to senado square.
