I see. Just wondering, since HK Disneyland is much smaller but I heard most of them wasn't able to cover the whole park? But for Tokyo, we manage to cover most of the rides except a few. But Ocean Park, quite alot of thrill rides? Depends on my partner thou.. he haven't been to both.
But thanks for the info smile.gif
*
Not bad for your Tokyo trip. i cannot stand in the line for more than 2 hours. HK Disney should be fine on a non-peak days. Have a look at the Ocean Park's website for its ride, no comment as I don't try to try any, I only go there for the animals biggrin.gif

Hi all, just wondering is it easy to travel in Macau using the public bus? anyone has tried it before? thanks
*
I find it easy, but you need to take some time to read the route sign (at bus stop) at first. There is one useful map from the macau tourism dept that shows the bus numbers for a popular destinations.

Tips, bring a lot of coins as you will not get a change. And don't bother to get the MacauPass (similar to octopus card) as you can only get the refund of your balance from designated offices only.

Long queue is nevermind ler..but they are jostling and downright rude. If you chide them, prepare for a verbal assault sweat.gif

But will the bus let me know where's the next stop when I'm in the bus? Does it indicate? And also, I can't read Chinese, do the buses have signs in English? smile.gif
*
There is LED display indicating the next destination, in Chinese and Portuguese language. I depend on the Portuguese version as it is easier to see. No English sweat.gif Where is your destination, maybe I can tell you the free shuttle bus way.

Yup first time for me, too bad my cousin won't be there next year sad.gif she's working there now with a 3 room apartment in Kowloon
LOL, bro.. Long time more for me to prepare the itinerary.. 8months more to go, but feeling excited.

My sister have been there many times, so she sort of told me where not to visit ... like Ladies street and 'bo hai gai' selling stuffs at tourist's price. And should stay around Mongkok cos there's the MTR interchange station, travelling from airport to there with bus...

Roughly when should I book my hotel then? I'm going during end much, I'm guessing mid-end Jan won't be too late?
*
Nooo, you need to go to Ladies market and experience it yourself...the noise, the price haggling and so on laugh.gif

I will be going HK on Aug, 6D 5N.

Friends were thinking to go Zhu Hai, Macau and also Cheung Chau. Had anyone tried these few places before?
*
Not a good idea to cover all in such a short time unless you just wanna touch-n-go

Meaning Ladies street is only fully open during the night? What if I go around evening say 5-6pm?
Yea, I heard some of the hotel can even take bookings wihtout deposit first.
I planned to stay in Mongkok, as there would be the most convenient for interchange.
What is there in Temple street beside food?
Nope, I intend to get a place in Mongkok, no point for a nice place since we will be out the whole day. The place is literally just for sleeping, lol.
Yea, cos I think most of the hotel/motel are small ones and normally only 5-10 rooms available. Tsim sa chui not as convenient as Mongkok huh?
I see, thanks for the info biggrin.gif

Anyways, should I pay a visit to Lan Kwai Fong? Nothing much besides drinking right?

Ladies’ Market:
Opening Hours: Noon to 11:30pm daily

emple Street Night Market:
Temple Street was named after the Tin Hau Temple situated at the end of the street. Along the street you can find many inexpensive items such as clothing, watches, luggage, CDs, toys and so on. Outside the temple, you can also find amateur Cantonese opera singers, fortunate tellers and traditional chess players.

TST would be just fine too. Can never go wrong.

If you are not into the clubbing scene, etc..then you can skip LKF.

Quick question. I was told that getting a suit done in HK would be cheap. I'm there from a Saturday morning to a Tuesday night. I just want a normal suit not with fancy italian fabrics or anything like that. Just a normal, simple suit. Any suggestions on where I should go to get it and what sort of price can I get it for??
