Hi all, my gf's S3 as well as my colleagues' one are having random reboot. All are on stock. It just happen suddenly about 1 month ago. Now its getting worse. Anyone face this problem before and any solution to it? I googled and it seem that a number of user are having this problem as well but no solution.

Probly its been discuss before but I cant read through all the post and search button not giving me much help.

siegdeclaroix this apps is to know what chips set is your device carrying but doesn't mean for sure is faulty otherwise Samsung will call back all S3 with similar chipset.  

1.500 is the new one..maxis s3 has this new mobo..digi not very sure depends whether they restock or old stock.

nope.its good too..the 1.100,1.200 AND 1.300 is the one that gives problem

oh..but so far..nobody that have 1.400 have sudden death problem in this forum..weird

and anyway. the 4.1.2 update is supposed to fix the bug. So it doesnt matter if you have the old chip.  but somehow if your phone did die on you anyway, go get it replaced at the SC and you will have a brand spanking new heart for your S3.

Nothing thats noticeable, but dont know if its related or not but my phone gets really hot. By just surfing using dolphin my phone can get to 48c, b4 this the hottest my phone can get is 43c. But still looking around if its the update problem or dolphin thats causing this

Try to read the finer details in the app. IIRC you need to assign a "trusted" friend who would be able to retrieve the details of your phone if it were to be stolen/lost. When the sim card is changed, your friend will get an SMS alert on the details, even GPS coordinates afaik. You can even send a message to lock the phone or sound an "alarm" like "This phone is stolen!" to the stolen/lost phone. Google more for more info..

I'm not sure whether you can check the info of your phone ONLINE as I didn't test this feature yet
