Hi guys,

I have three explorer mainly internet explorer, chrome and opera mini.

Right now, everytime i sign-in to WIFI it will automatically open Internet explorer to sign-in.

May i know how can i reset it to default so that i can use other explorer to sign-in instead of "ALWAYS USE" internet explorer?

I would like to select "USE Once" only rather than "Always use"....

Thanks
*
settings > application manager > internet explorer > clear defaults ?

then next time you sign in WIFI, choose open whatever browser u like once/this time only.

I would like to share with you guys with a new casing I just bought at PM nearby my place at RM38, the cover is made of PVC(I think) and the case is made of TPU(I don't trust hardcase as I heard it will scratch the Phone).

same like mine but mine is blue! rclxms.gif

I have use the supplied double sided tape to stick the Case to the cover so cannot make it stand...smile.gif
How much you bought yours? Mine's red is because my wife is using now...sad.gif
*
i dont remember.. maybe rm40 after discount, or initial price rm40 but he gave me discount later..

but with this kind of caseو its difficult to make a call.. i mean, once u flip the cover to the back its kinda bulky.. or do u just leave the cover close while on call? i'm thinking of using bumper case now..

QUOTE(galaxynet @ May 6 2013, 11:13 PM)
yes. this is the one someone posted earlier.. i wonder what color will suit pebble blue s3?

I think it suppose to work with the cover close but my wife will just flip the cover to the back, bulky? hmm...well she didn't complain bout that before but it's fully protected when she tuck inside her handbag.(You know, ladies have all sort of thing in their handbag).
*
maybe not bulky but not too nice to hold. and hard to pick up call especially when driving (without car phone holder, since i don't like to use handsfree/earphone.. sweat.gif)

thats why i'm thinking of switching to bumper case. also easy to fit in phone holder. then can use voice command to answer call while driving rclxms.gif

QUOTE(galaxynet @ May 6 2013, 11:42 PM)
blue or black or gold
*
thinking of black hmm.gif but maybe for later. maybe try the one in ebay since i dont need it urgently

hai.

i want to ask about s3 wifi.

before this wifi ok je, but since yesterday, nak send msg whatsapp pun take time nk delivered.

facebook, twitter lambat betul nak update.

then i go google about this, i found about wifi power saving mode. *#0011#>menu>wifi>off.

prob solve. fast wifi. but battery drained like hell. i dont know dia mmg mcm tu or it just me.

if i let wifi power save mode on, nothing is working. whatsapp take 10minit baru msg deliverd, twitter fb take too long to update. da fak.

the prob is, i never go to *#0011# and change the setting. i dont even know about wifi power save mode. how can this suddenly change?

thx
*
my wifi power save mode is on as well...

how about your wifi signal strength? strong or weak?

try to switch off your router for 5-10 minutes, then switch on and see if that solve the problem.. sometimes if the router is too hot especially if u keep it on 24 hours, it will effect wifi connection.. happened to me before. need to change to new router..

Well, lemme guess...is it 'OffTrack"??

My wife S3 battery drop 1 % after 3 minutes of using WIFI with auto brightness "ON", issit normal? 5 minutes of Youtube then drop another 6%, seems like kinda power draining. Should I get a 3000maH battery or what?
*
i was thinking 'derailed' but 'off track' is also ok biggrin.gif

anyway, about "auto brightness", i notice we can still adjust brightness for "auto" isn't it? so "auto" with "full brightness" should be brighter than "auto" with "0 brightness", therefore consume more battery right?

Actually I have set it to 45% Auto Brightness, so it means the brightness have cause the power draining?

let me test with my phone first..

lol.. cannot stream youtube at my place now.. too slow.. maybe i'll try later at home.. but battery drop 1% after playing offline video using video player, 45% auto brightess (if that make any sense), wifi and gps both "on" for about 4 and half minutes..

i think it also depends on the content of the video. if more white/ bright content, then it will consume more battery then if mostly black/dark content.

since yours is 1% after 3 minutes, but 6% after 6 minutes, probably the video content is much brighter after 3 minutes?

since u are using wifi to watch youtube it should also consume more battery.... i think..

Bro Cho.. no offence to me this is too many steps and with framaroot clean, no need to boot to recover, pc odin or battery power available.. rclxub.gif  sweat.gif

1. Download apps from XDA
2. Active it.
3. Choose Super user apps you want
4. Choose root method.
5. Reboot
6. done.
*
err.. what happened if battery empty in the process? can just restart the procedure after charging? or at least need 10% battery to complete without any problem?

is there any sp for s3 back cover??use bumper behind no protect.i go few shop but dun have
*
hows ur bumper? nice quality? how long it takes from the time u order until it arrived?

the bumper should be thicker than the phone. that is if u put your phone on table (either back or front surface) it wont touch the table. so if u slide the phone or drop it it wont scratch the phone unless u drop in on uneven surface like on the road.

My feedback as below smile.gif

The sun global battery (3000mAh), SOT for me 3-4.30 hours with 75-85% brightness. 3g on all the way.

how long for full charge? 3 hours 45 minutes?

QUOTE(Joelles @ May 8 2013, 04:38 PM)
I understand the Sun Global 3000mAH cost about RM45 right? Can it fits with the S3 ori back casing?
*
if it can fits the S3 ori back casing, does that means the battery is thinner than ori extended battery?

I think since he said it can fit with the original back casing, the thickness should be exactly same with the 2100mAH battery. Correct me if I am wrong.
*
yes.. i'm just wondering how Sun Global can make a 3000mAH battery at the same size with ori 2100 while Samsung's is much thicker since it comes with back cover.. maybe because Sun Global's battery has no NFC?

no, i'm already use the original charger, almost 4 hours, still 50%
*
s3 original charger is problematic.. if yours is still under 6 months, then better go to nearest service center and ask for replacement..

anyway, download galaxy charging current from play store, and run the app while charging. the max current should be 999/1000mA. what do u get for yours?

In all probability the USB cable is faulty. If your unit is less than 6 months old you can claim for a replacement as accessories are with 6 months warranty only.
*
sapik900906 yes. you can also try to use other usb cable and check using GCC if it gives 1000mA. but if i'm not mistaken, even if this solve the problem, some user reported that the wall socket might damage the usb cable later on.. so better change the whole set..
