Just a noob Question.. can a bootloader downgrade if you flash with Stock ICS firmware via PC odin ?

i other word Bootloadear only come with OTA update ?

just an idea.. what if you can flash S3 to ICS with bootloader then root it then PC odin all the way to Jb custom

right now i go 2 set S3 bot on custom ROM (wanamlite) if not mistaken my one unit was on custom ROM all the way and the other unit was on ICS custom rom then got bluetooth slot got problem need to send to SC and b4 SC i flash to ICS and OTA to JB.. after that root when come back. then got red ! .. ask ppl for old bootloader form ppl + TA.. ! gone and at download mode everything look OK + everything show official but at device status show Modified but the other unit show status Normal although both unit on Wanamlite ROM

now both of my unit no ! even thought always update ROM with CWM but just out if curious why one phone can status phone status Normal while the other unit show Modified on phone status.. FYI both phone have NO red ! and download MOde show samsung Official

as mention if you on stock + root then OK . but if on custom ROM

yes both phone had CMW 6.X

me olso using it to reset the dowload mode thing .

this what i do.. download Wanamlite to exsd card> go CWM > clear divick> clear Cache> factory reset at CWM > install ROM > boot up after boot up Factory reset > install TB .........

which option ? Auto reset at boot ? it default off

as mention by waveweaver it will TA will reset phone brinary counter to zero at reboot... if you reboot to download mode it will reset or just Re boot phone.. in case your phone 1/2 sds/brick ... it will work if you can get everthing in download mode to be official

Can mobil odin use on custom ROM ?

what i mean is to use mobil odin to flash wanamlite ROM which in Zip format not .tar

wan to know... may help friend to flash his s3 to custom ROM but got RED ! the last time 1 flash when s3 on 4.1.2... and my 2 unit has NO ! ,, but was flash b4 4.1.2 Rom

that was 4.1.1 ROM with your old bootloader

that why i ask early is it possible to down grade the bootloader to ICS from 4.1.2 Rom

Do stock ROM at sammobile com with old bootloader such as ICS 4.0.4 ROM

noob ? here : do OTA update 1 firmware at a time ... Eg if i flash to ICS 4.0.4 it will update 4.1.1 then OTA again to 4.1.2 or it will go form 4.0.4 straight to 4.1.2
