1) Whats the call rate to non Maxis fixed line (e.g. TM)?
2) 100mins free to Maxis mobile numbers, But whats the call rate to mobile lines (e.g. to Celcom/Digi or To Maxis mobile after finishing the 100 min quota )?
3) Additional "100 mins free calls on Maxis mobile for Maxis postpaid subscribers" - I dont see this even on maxis website. Is this true?
4) Later when got IPTV, then the rates will change?

1) Call charges to non Maxis operated fixed line: RM0.05/min (local calls) and RM0.09/min (nationwide calls) 2) Upon the completion of the free minutes: Maxis mobile and non-Maxis mobile is RM0.09/min 3) Updated! This feature has been removed 4) The IPTV (Astro) will be added to the existing Maxis Fibre plan with additional fee but it will not affect the internet plan pricing per se. The combined monthly fee will be much less than if they were subscribed separately. Obviously because maxis at same price packages offers faster speeds than Unifi. Unifi 5mbps vs Maxis 10mbps Obviously if all the conditions are there maxis will dominate because it is twice the speed. BUT the big question is when will the conditions be met. As all previous/current maxis user knows, it is often not the case. (ie, maxis throttle your speeds from 8pm-2am daily) Hence thats why there is a lot people complaining too. and hence why i say the ts is misleading people because unifi doesn't throttle wherelse the ts said other isp providers throttle like maxis |

I wish to install this on the highest floor (2.5 storey house). Will there be any additional cost to this? There are windows and a balcony.
To prevent showing the cables, can you do concealed wiring? I am not sure how the contractor going to tap the wiring from. Please advice from this.
Btw, after registered, how long it takes to wait for installation?

Maxis Fibre packages are bundled with a telephone line. Yes, you do have a fixed line phone no. after the Maxis Fibre is activated but you do not need the copper wire phone line from TM. FREE monthly credit worth RM30 for calls to mobile, fixed numbers and IDD destinations from your DECT phone (not provided) Yes, you are right, since the MNP is implemented, you could not tell which telco you are calling from the phone no. prefix. How much can you guarantee the 10mbps speed? What's the best I can expect? Can I try the service first? Do you give trial periods?
Can I keep my TM number?

The torrent control is based on fair usage policy. The speed will be increasingly slower if the cluster of users in the same area are doing heavy torrenting. The 10Mbps is on a best effort basis. You can always complaint to the technical if the speed is way below your expectation. We are sorry that once the service is activated, you will be entered into a 24 months contract. No trial period. You will not be able to port your TM fixed line phone no. to the Maxis Fibre service. Of course, you can choose to maintain your existing phone in addition to the new phoneline provided by Maxis Fibre. The RM30 credit for voice calls will be given to you every month as long as you keep your Maxis Fibre active. Please PM us your address for service coverage check. The RM30 voice credit is a changed of Maxis policy and not part of the promotion. You can enjoy the monthly credits as long as your line is active unless and until Maxis change the policy again. I m using UNIFI VIP5 almost 2years, recently keep disconnected.. And I have to switch off n on many times to settle the line stable .
Need advise , is maxis 10mbps better n more stable than unifi Vip5 at kepong (pcode52000) area ? And PM ur special promotion , if still available.

Hi, I'm considering to change my unifi to maxis home fibre, I have been doing some research for this past few months, I need to confirm this with you, is it true at night mostly start from 8pm maxis home fibre will get speed drops? I have asked directly 3 users that are also LYN forumer, they said the same thing, and many that i read from other forums. I want to know if it is normal or the error is from the user part. My area has unifi coverage but the tm pole in front of my house doesn't have the port. Currently I am apply streamyx 8mbps still not complete. Tm is checking the speed and they say not stable and can not support 8mbps. If maxis home fiber can support would be interested to hear from you. Thanks.

If your address is not in the serviceable list, then we're sorry that Maxis Fibre installation is not possible for your home. Hello virgel87, In fact, it should be RM148 - RM30 = RM118 based on your calculation. Let us explain, the RM30 is a monthly credit for you to offset any outgoing calls that you have made. The unused balance of the RM30 will be burnt. No carry over. Anyway, you can choose to make call with the phone or not. The fixed line for voice call and the RM30 credit are given to you as part of the Maxis Fibre internet plan. However, the phone set is not provided. Hi, the RM30 is used to offset any outgoing calls you might have made with your phone. You will have to top up if your call charges is above RM30. Anything less than RM30 will be burnt. Maxis Fibre and UniFi share the same coverage area and also the serviceable database. If the issue is the database not updated, then your chance of getting the service is good. Anyone would like to terminate unifi but still in contract and worries to pay penalty??
Don't terminate just let me know..i interested to continue yur unifi, transfer unifi to my house, and i pay unifi monthly, but must be yur contract atleast 1year left.. because i only stay in klang maybe for 1 and half years.then will relocated..

The download speed at a certain time of the days depends on a lot of factors. Based on unconfirmed report and feedback from customers, Maxis do enforced the FUP more stringently than UniFi. Generally, the subscribers have reported a much smoother internet experience after switching from ABNxcess to Maxis Fibre. Maxis do not discriminate against other IPTV. But if those IPTVs are based on P2P, then it is possible that the bandwidth will be throttle if you hogged too much of it. If the sudden drop happens, that means there are some technical issues. Maxis is obliged to rectify the faults for you. You are right, theoritically. But gaming should not incur throttling. Only heavy P2P downloading users will be throttled if you are affecting other users's experience in the same clusters. I have a question. Understand that the fiber plans comes with free RM 30 credit per month for phone calls. Question is what is the IDD rate? Your website says that the billing for IDD is in 6 sec increments so when you provide the link, make sure that logic matches (you provided a link for business IDD which shows per min calls but that was 2 years back). Kindly clarify this
Consumers need to know. Otherwise, we will get a sticker shock once the RM 30 credit is used up.

Why is Maxis having high latency problem and when i call the customer service, they just act like they don't know anything about it. its a thumbs down when comes to playing online game.
