Anybody had experience sortie with UNACS? I find them very helpful in distracting enemies, sometimes they even managed to destroy some targets.
Lovin this new feature
Story missions, no, since I usually aim to get S Ranks, so mostly I deploy alone with no mercs, allies, or UNACs.
As for actual combat, UNACs have to be properly tuned and leveled up by Operation Files or using funds for them to be truly effective. I participated in a normal sortie against an opposing team using 4 UNACs with the leader as Operator before. Our team barely took 3k damage each lol.
Still, I gotta take the time to mess around with the settings. A sniper bot might be good to have around

Some of the story missions are easy to get s ranks, but some requires ultimate weapons to get the job done Too bad i dont have previous AC5 to transfer my previous files. If not i can use those ulti weapons to complete all the subquests lol
Imho this game is a lot easier to get s rank compared to AC4FA, previous installement even have rank ss for their story mission, plus theres no ulti weapons.
Guys, the season has ended for this week, and now we are free to attempt to take down any of the special bosses in this game. Anyone care to join me to figure out how to beat each one of these monsters?

The next Verdict War has continued. Anyway so far through mercenary work, special sorties, and the brief period earlier, I've managed to try all but 2 of the special boss fights in the game. List is below (SPOILER ALERT):
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
1. N-WGIX + VOB - The final boss in the game, except it starts in Jet mode. Flies at supersonic speeds across the battlefield, so fast that I don't think anyone has ever been able to scan its weaknesses and get decent hits in. Behaves like a bomber and has an ultra-powerful beam attack that is signalled by a sudden upward turn right before it fires. I read that the Final Boss will be deployed after you beat the Jet Mode.
Suggested strategy - Sniper Cannon weapon arms. I really dunno how else to hit this thing properly with regular lockon. The only thing I can think of is roughly gauge with sniper-cannon weapon arms (since you can move and fire) when it comes charging. After Jet Mode, I suppose fighting it like how you beat the final boss is okay.
2. Spirit Class Moving Fortress - Here comes the most memorable Arms Fort from ACFA. This thing is massive, loaded with laser cannons, turrets and missile launchers, and most probably will kill you 15 seconds into the mission if you had no idea what to expect and react.
Suggested Strategy - I've been trying this, although so far my best success was destroying 4 of those laser cannons before getting destroyed. Must have a 4-man team who is skilled at taking cover and dodging.
3. LiV - Human-thingy surrounded by a spinning shield. Seems to target players one at a time, but has absolutely devastating laser cannon attacks + barrage of energy jammers that drain your EN and slows down movement. Ends a barrage with a charging-attack that deals 30k fixed damage.
Suggested Strategy - I...honestly have no idea how to beat this thing. I tried close range, sniper range, etc and I still get melted within seconds upon getting targeted. Will get back to this later
4. Exusia - The final/special boss from ACV. Have yet to try this boss out, but apparently it retains almost all of the attacks from ACV plus a few new tricks. Has 900k HP, or so I read.
5. 4x Lotus - The spinning UFO mini-boss in one of the story missions, except 4 of them come at you at once. Suggest to use CE weaponry, but time your attacks when it stops spinning. Remember to dodge drones and its laser beam attacks
6. Multiple Scavenger/Hunters - The bird-like weapons that appear in some of the story missions. I count about 2 Hunters (long-range cannon support) and maybe 2-4 Scavengers (fast moving, close to mid range attackers)
Suggested Strategy - Focus on CE Weaponry. Bait the Scavengers out and hide behind the buildings where the mission starts, out of range of the Hunters. Deal with the Scavengers first before going for the Hunters.
7. Multiple Cyclops - 2x Cyclops (the annoying spinning-kick enemies) and 2x Cyclop cannon walkers. The map provides a lot of cover, but it also prevents you from attacking the Cyclops without exposing yourself. Exposure means the Cyclops will attempt to use its spinning kick attack on you, which is VERY hard to avoid and deals about 15k damage.
Suggested Strategy - Pop in and out of cover and take potshots. Use the terrain to make sure you are not open to attack for too long. Focus CE weaponry (I think)

wow nice info dude.. thx this will help us in special sortie
Been trying to beat/attempt them for a couple of weeks. I don't see many people online, had to resort to Mercs who can't really work with me on strategies
