TBH am getting a bit passion lost with the armor core series. I have played armored core since the first few episode and on every version its the same thing. Blow stuff up. Relatively same customization system, improvement on the blow stuff up graphic. IMHO there has been one think that i find lacking in all AC series, that is a good story line. Heck if you ask me what was the story that actually happened in AC for answer, AC 5, i cant remember. or it wasnt worth remembering. Good story line in mecha games like front mission 2, till today i can still remember the plot was hook to the story and what was going to happen next. For AC series and being a mecha fans, i only remember one thing. Read emails and blow stuff up.
Noyt going to put up high hopes again for Verdict Day. Going to go in with the lowest expectation and hope to see what it brings.
It's ACV R3 disc. It was a good game for me, but bamco failed to deliver post-launch maintenance. Servers lagged as hell, and people kept getting shoved off to NAT type 2 (basically, the servers are so bad, you can't connect with your teammates).
On the note, someone wants to have a battle in ACV? If you want, I can contact FromCheng to record the game for us, since other servers just held their tourney battles.
This new installment focusing mainly on team battles in story or online mode.
They also introduced new "AI" customization that can be used to create autonomous ACs as your allies in battles.
Instead of just creating "one ac fits all" u can create 5 different acs to go into missions. We can also choose to let these AC fight on their own or join the battle as team leader.
Kinda like the new direction they are going for this series. Im bored playing alone in story mode, at least i can create my own AIs aka minions to join me in battle for story mode. As for online im guessing we can choose either creating a team of 5 consists of AIs or real players.
