if full spin is noticable if u are less then a meter away of it ...

if u place it inside the case should be quiet enough that wont disturb icon_rolleyes.gif

reminder it is not as quiet as those UV silent fan, just slightly louder than is since it spin at 1600RPM while UV version is 1300RPM

my big water 120mm fan is ok.
<1600rpm is quite
>1600rpm noise is noticable
>1800rpm noisy!!!

so, i maintain it at about 1500rpm.

only run full speed when i am full OC my computer.

thinking to have a fan replace my coolermaster fan in my CM Centurion 5

should check out HardOCP forum, u'll know that many people got cheated by SilenX's rating .....

the noise level always comes in this arrangement :

sleeve bearing < ball bearing < no bearing.

even with that, i only trust reputable fan manufacturers, and not over-rated BS

AFAIK, or as far as i've tested, panaflo is still the best when it comes to minmal noise.
others just cant beat this legacy

Okay it run max at 1600 rpm so will causes noise a little when u are close to it ... but inside of case is alright....if use on radiator surely is better then the original fan.....

anyway i place it inside my case now to blow northbridge chipset rclxm9.gif

How to say measurement wise is different from one manufacturer to another,,,,

thermaltake test is done 1meter away from the fan....while coolermaster is done 10cmaway from the fan,,

i guess u should know that the spec is just spec but the actual performance have to self experience.

anyway it does push a lot of airflow with acceptable noise level 10cm away i mean....not TT spec 1 meter away...

Thermaltake specs have always been a load of crap. 61CFM at 16dBA. Jeez. Anyone with common sense would know immediately that it's not possible.
