Manage to grab this vacuum cleaner in Carrefour just now for RM 20. Carrefour is throwing out rebranding sales. all those carrefour branded items are given 70% discount.

dont think it is strong enuff to blow dust that stick on the air filter. it even put a note in the user manual, saying that only turn on the compressor in the span of every 10 mins.
*
Tks, Bro, 4clarifying that... notworthy.gif
Feel a better "investment" wld b a small sized true compressor like those used in Hypermarkets...similar 2those in tyre/work-shops... tongue.gif
So far me juz used hse vac 2suck (instead of blow) dirt fr air filter @intervals in-between & during scheduled (DIY) services. icon_rolleyes.gif

Bro, refer below highlighted quote from Shawie thread:
It can be used, but don't expect heavy duty. Same model I purchased from Carrefour back then, it served me well since 2004 until 2012 September. Well worth the juice.

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Feel yu are juz pure UNlucky nia...
At that point in the assembly line, yr car was most probably done up by a very UNhappy worker who only thought of only letting out his frus @workplace...

Fyi much more expensive incl imported cars do get that kind of treatment, too....in case yu not kno.... tongue.gif
Juz get that rare flaw corrected @Proton SC....

QUOTE(akuinsan @ Apr 22 2013, 08:20 PM)
last week after read about leakage issues in this forum, i already make test at my FLX (year 2012, august, plet number WXE 1xxx)

when pouring water, no any leakage, the leakage only happen just after i pouring too fast water ... because it overflow the plastic/rubber, not leakage like I watch in the video.

but on that time, i didn't recording it.

so after saw leakage issues again, i decide to record it. Today evening had heavy rain at KL. If this leakage is very big problem, sure have some watermark at any area of my engine or rightly at top of IAFM plastic body...

during i take this video, i don't start my car engine, and during the heavy rain my car is park on open parking.

BUT SO SORRY if the video too dark  whistling.gif

Nvr ever noticed any obvious wet areas after washing my 2011 FL for past 2 years...

try look deeper into the iafm manifold to engine block.. mine does hv rust and a little stagnant water after wet drive
not sure about others.. mybe some will hv this and some not..
*
Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Frankly IMHO wat is being highlighted by said poster, is nothing 2fret or feel so angry abt...
Firstly RUST is a vehicle's most common & prevalent problem...
Even our atmospheric air + vapour is corrosive 2a car... rclxm9.gif

So as me see it, it's an easily rectifiable prob....a simple one wld b 2use a clear/black(owner's choice) silicone sealant at that joint.
A tube can cure for many many cars....
End of story... icon_rolleyes.gif

ps. There's a Chinese saying which loosely translated means...the more yu fear something wld happen to yu, the more likely that wld happen to yu...
If one has no faith in Proton, pls dun buy Proton products....
Yu'll definitely regret doing so... rolleyes.gif
