I'll be spending most of my time from June onwards in Indonesia.
Don't think that LTE will be significantly available there so I'll just get the normal version. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. |

Especially now that you can get a protective case that fits this cover from SPIGEN. |

Is there a program where you can back up your stuff on the SD Card and then restore in your new phone?
Gonna change to S4 from a Note 2 and want to transfer my stuff the most painless way possible. |

QUOTE(6@9 @ Apr 27 2013, 07:18 PM) Can asomeone explain to me why we can get cheaper s4 by registering a package with celcom, maxis or digi? We still need to pay in advance which in total will come to the same price if we get the phone wthout the contract Most of the upfront payment is returned back to you via the form of monthly rebates. So it is slightly cheaper. Also, long time users of a particular network are normally exempt from paying most upfront payments. |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Apr 27 2013, 07:22 PM) Oh yes, I found out about this when enquiring about a phone package from Maxis. Minimum 1 year of using Maxis Postpaid is required or something You're right ... it's minimum one year for Maxis. Not a problem for me since I was a Maxis user since the day the company was born. I feel old now |

Black Mist user reporting in.
The crap thing about buying a phone on the launch day is the lack of accessories i.e. cases. I'm now carrying my phone with an ill fitting Note 2 case until they release more cases. p.s. the battery moves very fast huh (I used to have a Note 2) |

QUOTE(ramz @ Apr 29 2013, 11:23 AM) That's not the point. It has to be future proof for 2 years. In 6 month time lte will be so common throughout the country and s4 will be obsolete 2 years? My friend, phones nowadays only last around 6 - 9 months before they are upgraded by people.Anyways, normal usage from 7 - 11:30 am (i.e. whatsapp and a few calls) and my battery is now at 74%. Coming from an ex Galaxy Note 2 user, it seems a little fast. Also just ordered this from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BYJXGP...0?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's 50% off now so go crazy guys. QUOTE(ben3003 @ Apr 30 2013, 02:09 PM) anyone ordering sgp from amazon? or anyone plan to order from amazon? can we use maybank 2 card amex card? i tried but keep decline >< dunno wat is happening.. I use my Maybank AMEX card with no problems whatsoever on Amazon.Give Maybank a call, maybe they're blocking because it's an unusual transaction for you. Especially if you're using it the first time. |
