Not many ppl like us on the internet know that we can pre order in Samsung store itself. General consumer will just line up and get the phone on the day itself. They might reserved a limited number for pre-ordered stock while the rest will be open to others. I think is logic sense in business. No?

Just my 2cent. tongue.gif
*
Now tell me, what is the differences between lining up and pre-order? I am selling both of it at the same price, no diskaun, no freebies, no limited item stuff. Taking pre-orders means i am more confident that even before launching i have this much CONFIRMED customer. I am doing business, not running charity. I have 10k stock, 1k pre-order from me, means i have sold 1k even before pre-order. In what world's logic that i would limit the number of pre-order if i have ample amount of stock, unless i have limited stock and i wan allocate some stock during launch, if not 100 ppl line up and i only left 90 stock.. later kena slam by ppl. So in the end it is the problem of SME on their stockpiling.

I don't think We can blame those who stopped taking orders. Just like iPhone 5 during launching, They accept pre order as riding time the hype, end up couldn't fulfill the demand and got screwed days and night.

I believe They want to play safe so that same thing doesn't happen, probably want to secure stocks for other reason.
*
that's why the marketing division failed. i believe they play safe by not stockpiling. Come on, statistically Samsung Galaxy series is riding on high tide now. Anyway, it is not my lost that they cannot meet demand and lose out so money.

for me LTE or not no problem, sarawak no LTE anyway. DC-HSDPA is good enough tat can run unifi speed on the go. I saw gameplay demo Exynos Octa stuttered when the car drive in the dirt where the dust start to fly, it is very not cool. SD600 run the game flawlessly.

It's odd when Maxis who is promoting LTE does not offer LTE version of S4. I don't think stock issues either.
*
i believe LTE version they prioritize for those country with established LTE. They got limited stock, very fuking high demand in US and all over the world. Malaysia LTE only in Klang Valley, small market. So they release non-LTE is more feasible.

LTE since both cost me the same amount. "Future proof" is a strong preposition for technology even though most consumers change phones frequently.

If you read consumer reports you will find that future proof is one of top 3 most considered factor.
*
Malaysian change their mobile phone like change their underwear, even underwear i wear 1 yr i also havent change. But ppl change 2 phones per year, holding note 2, then wan change s4. holding s3, wan upgrade s4. Not about cost u, so u have 100k LTE phone, 100k Exynos, u wan distribute among US, UK, SG, MY, SK, HK, TW. How u distribute? Everyone wants LTE, how? Of coz LTE u give to US, US have 100-200mil population 50% LTE penetration, maybe 100% at big cities like NY. Malaysia? 25mil population, 10% LTE penetration. SG, 100% LTE penetration, 2-3mil population. Do business need priority, give and take, only u make big money like Samsung, Apple. See why apple got priority which country get phone 1st, becos those country statistically generate more business.

I'm answering as if I'm the operator (eg Maxis) and have the options to offer two phones then I will pick LTE. Whatever you said here is irrelevant to what I answered, or at least from different perspective.

PS: We are not interested in your underwear habit
*
bro, it is not up to MAXIS to decide what phone to bring in, it is what phone SME wan to offer them, period. I am just taking it as an example. Quit ranting LTE version, if what u get is non-LTE becos Samsung see all u puny users as nothing.

Oh ya i believe u can owes travel to our beloved neighbour in SG to buy the LTE version, i believe u are rich enough for it. Else just wait for the LTE launch in Msia.

so how? my contract is 24 month....still left 6 month to finish....can extend contract to get the phone?
*
i oledi say, iValue plan is solely for iPhone, u can extend only if u buy iPhone 5. U can go ask maxis better. Yes, u can use the sim with any phone, but contract wise, only iPhone.
