They are also considered as endangered species in Indonesia. So it's impossible to have one either. And i don't think ppl will like to have it. Nth nice about it... hehehe....

i think the closest to the Komodo here would be its cousin the Monitor LIzard. 1 fruit seller in my town keeps one which roams around his fruit shack and sleeps beneath it. The seller would throw the half eaten or rotten fruits to this monitor for food and the fella would eat. And we aint talking a small monitor but a big one roughly 6-7 feet long from tip to tail and pretty built in size. I would estimate more than 50kg in weight Already tame due to the contact with humans everyday....
