anyone facing problems with Ipad speaker sound problems? my ipad now when using headphone got sound, when using speaker, will got sound in 5 seconds (cracking sound), then sound gone....try open in pps and youtube also the same...hardware problems? or software problems? each time i restart the apps or restart ipad, will got cracking sound early for 5 seconds and then gone....

think is hardware problem...? how old is your ipad?

lucky still under warranty until 22 April 2013....yesterday just sent to Apple Authorized Service Centre..they told me will replace new one if really hardware problem....but if software problems, then will charge me RM70.00 wtf...finger cross, hope hardware problem...but replacement took 2 weeks...coz my unit come with engraving...so need to ship from china factory...

hi there...exactly happened to mine as well. 100% speaker problem. now waiting for one to one replacement (5 working days). normally we should be happy for the one to one replacement service. for me im pretty upset because if the speaker is malfunction (out of warranty period) then you will need to change the whole unit. they will not do repairing for ipad.
