QUOTE(yetieater @ Oct 5 2006, 11:36 PM) Yeah, I'll be going to the US to start school in fall of 2007. should it be 1GB + 1GB rather then 1GB + 256MB?1GB of RAM is becoming the standard. I think the MacBook that you're looking at comes from Apple with two sticks of 256MB DD2. You could swap one out, grab a 1GB stick, and work with 1.25GB |

QUOTE(e1fnd @ Oct 28 2006, 11:54 AM) Hi guys, battery charge drops tremendously???? I just bought a MacBook recently, and it was going good until recently... suddenly the battery charge drops tremendously... You guys experience this? It is still under warranty , how do I claim for warranty? I bought it over here in LYN, so was wondering where I can claim it, do I just walk in to any Apple shops? how come? mine as good as new(although its already 3 month old) maybe u should make an observation for about 1-3 days and see whether the problem still occur, then u can bring it for repair. |

i have a little problem here. last night i erase my WinXP partition using bootcamp. everything looks normal and the partition become 1. this morning, i try to install WinXP back and do the partition thing. the Windows XP is already install, but when i try to boot into OS X, the Kernel Panic came out.. i try to use the Restore DVD (the DVD 1) hold down the C button when the MacBook restart but nothing happen..it's just blue screen (before OS X load up completely.) but when i try to check hardware failure by pressing D, everything is fine. no hardware failure.. i try to reformat & reinstall the MacBook using restore DVD, but when i press the C button, its seem that the DVD cannot being read.. anyone? |

QUOTE(Cello @ Jun 6 2007, 01:45 AM) Kingston have those certified Apple RAMs while I see some put normal KVR RAMs into their MacBook and it's runs fine. if only u got lots of money..What the difference? Certified Apple RAMs more expensive? Stable? then go for the Apple Certified RAMs.. which will cost u over 500++ for 2GB but it should be fine by using the Value RAMs i'm using Kingston Value RAM. no problem at all... |
