hi guys...i'm looking for ultrabook, any model is bang for buck ?

1. Preferred Brand : any which not much complaint.
2. Budget: below 2.8k
3. Usage: documentation, presentation, hd movies, abit of games.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: i5 or better, 14", battery life more than 6hours.

and had do a few survey, HP ENVY 4-1204TX Ultrabook, lenovo S and U series only. others brand not sure yet.

preferred if got better gc instead of intel.

sorry to tell you that you cant find 14" models with minimum 1600x900 resolution except XPS 14. some more the XPS14 is overpriced. you need at least 15" screen. however, best for your choice :

The only models that i know fit into those criteria are Lenovo Y500 & Illegear R15. But i'm looking for cheaper alternative.

I had my eye on samsung ativ xe500 or maybe surface rt due to the small form factor and tablet feature to replace my aging motorola xoom tablet. though for surface rt software limitation might be an issue since its not a full fledge windows 8.
is it worth to go for notebook tablet hybrid or should i stick with an ultrabook which pretty much portable with larger screen size campared to those two. Havin a touch screen feature would be a plus. My previous experience with windows 8 shows that the interface are touch screen friendly rather thank the conventional mouse.
