Hi, is anyone got recommendations for doing lasik surgery? How much?

My power is 3.25 and 4.25 with 0.25 astigmatism on both eyes.

26 year old adult here🙋‍♂️

Is Dr Ainur from ADMC ok? Been explored few posts here.

Tired of wearing spectacle and costly to make new after couple of years.

perhaps you can go for a pre-lasik check with Dr.Ainur and see if youbare suitable for this surgery.

my gf just did the ICL with Dr.Ainur last week and vision has recovered about 90%. according to Dr it will get improve gradually.

price for ICL 7.4k/eye (without astig)

one thing we would like to share, if you are going to see Dr.Ainur please be prepare the extra money need to fork out just for the checkup.

the first checkup will cost nearly 600, without medication.
if you have follow-up checkup, only pay for the consultation and medication, would be around 200+ each time (repeating idesign will be FOC)

not to stop you from doing this but to let you know upfront and be prepare financially.

Lasik mainly to correct far distance refractive error, not for near, unless you ask the doctor to correct 1 eye for far, 1 eye for near.
by the way, the lasik cost is going to increase next year, whoever plans to do it, go get it done this year if possible.

any idea how much gonna be?

Anyone here did ICL that can share experience?
Want to see is it common encounters or i have additional complication.

I did it one month ago, and the vision is not so clear during 1st month. Eg watching tv is okay, but not 100% sharp. Working using laptop is really challenging, cannot even see clearly the excel file.

Now coming into 2nd month, vision is still not clear, but i do feel it is improved compare to 1st month. Also consult Dr Ainur earlier, he said i have dry eyes complication (which isn't common) so now i am using those eyedrops purchase over the counter.

my gf did the ICL and not 100% sharp for the first few months after surgery.
on the 5th month, suddenly she felt so sharp even the astig reduced compare with post surgery reading.
now her condition so much stable, she did the surgery last Nov.

guess it's not uncommon, give your eyes some times to get used to it maybe.

Thanks for sharing.
Guess i underestimate the effect of post recovery period. Not able to see clearly the laptop and phone are really challenging in my line of work.
I am also worried did i get "lou fa" earlier due to this procedure when this happened.
Have been putting 2-3 times per day for those OTC eyedrops.
The pharmacist advise not to use too much per day, and should not use more than 1 week.
Is it okay to use more frequent on daily basis, and use for long term (i assume the post recovery period of 6 months need?)

Earlier Dr Ainur prescribed eyedrop was every 4 hours. But i am concerned that there will be difference between OTC eyedrops vs the prescribed one.
*
for long term use please get those preservative-free eyedrop.
the one prescribed by Dr.Ainur is one of them.

Hello all,

I know what I am asking might already been answered in this thread but the thread is just too long so if any1 kind enough could please explain the pros and cons of LASIK surgery? I know there are info on some websites but mostly are by Ophthalmologists websites which might be bias?

My left eye is 225 and 275 on the right.
*
pls use the keyword search function to find out the answer.
there are quite a few of detailed reviews for their lasik journey, go through and make your pros and cons list.
everyone has different experience and outcome, get the doctor you trust to avoid any bad thing happen.
