Anyone using Streamyx 8mb can stream live video?

I try to stream via twitch or youtube both also fail

Whats your upload speed? and your bitrate setting for Twitch? You probably have to scale down to a lower res.


Even with Unifi I can't go super high bitrate. The key is to make it watchable. Too much lag and pauses kills stream. You can check out my channel here:

I believe Streamyx Max upload is between 1Mbps or 512kbps?

I'm now on Unifi with 20Mbps upload..and even using Twitch's recommended 3500kbps bitrate..I still get stuttering and lag..

I believe its due to Twitch side servers..

Dont use 3500kbps. As an unpartnered streamer ppl cant select a quality option. Which means not many ppl will be able to view your video properly. In theory 2000 is the ideal bitrate for a non partner streamer.

Yeah..I already dropped my bitrate..and yet I'm getting buffering on my end..it's also quite well known Twitch support on SEA isn't that good for non-partnered =/

But doesn't mean I'm giving up..ahaha..will still stream when I can xD

I actually considered upgrading Unifi to 50Mbps with 20 up, but decided against it as it is ok for now. I'm honestly afraid of playing more action fast paced games. Tonight might try one. Not sure if I still have The Division installed.
