they are not fragile, if you have solder knowledge, you can take off a keyboard and put them back again without any problem. you kena lowball kah?

nope, imsto is imsto, feng is feng. those thick keycaps feng has are from imsto. to be precise, the keycap company is called KBC, not imsto. basically feng is like, taking products from imsto to sell it on ebay, something like partner, while feng is located in US, and imsto in china.

if im not wrong.. rurusha or someone just bought the olivetti set from imsto. it's blue letters on white.

i love thick pbts, i have the white one with hangul legends, they are the best. : ) i can't really go back to normal abs anymore. : (

It's not that hard to find now, it's pretty common. It's good, if you like soft and smooth feeling. Kind of like brown, but without the sand feeling and tactile.

go for brown then, it doesnt have clicky sound, but it still has tactile and works well with double tapping.

im using black switch for gaming, and everything else. : p

I type in a dark room, but don't look at my keyboard when I type. : x

no, razer products are glossy, finger print magnet. but their recent keyboards are matte, which are quite sexy. : p

as for the qfr, it's rubber coated, and if you keep scratching it, the rubber coat will indeed come off. the keycap quality isnt good either, but it's a good and durable board, i still have my qfr blue switch. : ) but the surfaces on the sides a bit off already cause i jatuh few time, if you use it with caution, it'll stay pretty good. : )


the new cm qfr however, the updated version, doesn't have the silver surfaces anymore, it'll be black and unbranded version.

the case silver surface is rubber coated. and yes, only red switches comes with black casing. if im not wrong, malaysia is still carrying the old cm qfr, which is silver surfaces with cm brand everywhere. it's not that it's not good, just that the new updated version is without brand, and not rubber coated.

if im not wrong, they will be carrying them in again, the new batch should have the updated ones. you need to ask cyntrix though. not sure if they are still carrying cm or not. otherwise you have to try your luck on US already.

different feeling

thick keycaps gives out different sound and different feeling
abs keycaps and pbt keycaps has different texture and feels different as well, typing on abs keycaps(which is your stock keycaps) feels i dont know, sticky and smooth? it'll become shiny over time, which i dont like, because they look dirty. pbt on the other hand, has the nice matte texture, feels great and is durable.

sure they are bling and stuff, people want the look, the feeling, and durability. you have to try it yourself to know how it feels. i cannot go back to abs stock keycaps anymore once i got pbt.
