um may I know how is the mbbs program there in AIMST? as in the lecturers, course structure, environment etc. Thanks =)

MBBS programme. Not bad, they've revised the whole curriculum for the latest and upcoming batches. Much more self orientated studies and elements included. Making you guys better doctors. Us, still in the old one. The next intake would be on Sept 2008. 200 per intake, maybe slightly more than that. 3 batches has just graduated yesterday.

Convocation, was searching for blogs posting about it. But found none. Haha. Am curious to know too, saw they in their graduation cloak yesterdays. 127 doctors and 90 plus professionals. After all these years.

some din graduate le, they hvto come back n retake subject.

Yup, batch 2 students especially. Cause of the university papers, they weren't introduced to these CGES's papers when they were admitted. But i think most of em' have finished and are currently working in hospitals nationwide.

nop, im just a 2nd year student. i heard from my lecturer. they got D in CGES paper, the department consider it as pass, but CGES consider as fail. so they're very unlucky.
this must spread to all Aimst degree students if wanna avoid that incident.

LOL. I hate uni papers, find them kinda useless and time consuming. Heyy, you're from batchh? Nice to see another aimster here. Get active in this forum! Haha.

Ur add math not pass le, u can try mail them. chooseaimst@aimst.edu.my

And erm, yup you can try applying for the foundation in science programme. But for medic and dentistry, i think you really need a B4 for all science subjects.

USM has MSC biotechnology by research rite....3 of my friends are there now.

normally 1st yr depend on the notes is ok d, sure pass one. hehe.... u wan A or above, get urself some books. photocopy can d. some wont use at all during 2nd yr. Get ststistic book and biochem book. i dunno hows ur cell biology, who's the lecturer btw? as for genetics, if u just follow the lecture n his notes (hv to take down note during lecture), sure can get at least B+ or A-.

actually is Khoo Miew Ling,former SO, just dont bother bout her, but be quiet in class k.
Final exam can be easy if u study all the thing. last minute study not recommended. the question in MCQ very tricky, hv to pay more attention. essay part still ok, write what ever u know but relavant.
