Nope there will be only 200 per intake, and i don't think those who're from india will be coming yet. So far i heard it was half half, half from foundation and the other half for JPA and external students.

Minimum qualification for stpm/a lvls will no longer admit you into the faculty of medicine currently, there're still 300 more students which has quite good results on waiting list for the MBBS programme. So it might just get very competitive.

minimum requirement :


A-Level B, B, B or A, B, C in Biology and 2 other Science or Maths subjects

STPM B+, B+, B+ or A-, B+, B in Biology and 2 other Science or Maths subjects

AIMST Foundation
in Science A, B, B in Biology and 2 other Science or Maths subjects with minimum total of 215 marks. (Grade A and B refers to A+, A, A-/ B+, B, B- and GP for grade B- must be at least 3.0)

I think if you get the minimum requirement it already a good chance you could enter. Btw, do they accept a grade less?

nop, if got a B-, they directly reject.

aimst strict adhere to the min requirement... even those who get higher are not guarantee for a seat thou...

I think it's because too many students apply for AIMST, their fees are quite cheap, RM220k can finish whole course ady

aimst offers the cheapest fees among all local private Us.... so many plp rushed in...

It's certainly the best place to pursue the dream of becoming a doctor at low cost. Do they have their own bookstore?

Waa... if only I get a good grade. RM220k is too cheap but this is very good too many people who can't get into medicine. Well I guess there is always Indon, Egypt and Russia.

Aww, I was thinking of selling stethoscope to AIMST students but it seems like it's impossible now How much does it cost if you order directly from Kamal I wonder for the stethocope?

last week i went to sport complex and noticed that the gym is so crowded, and even the badminton courts are also full house. haha.. i seriously think that if more and more new students are coming in , for every subsequent intake, aimst shud really consider building one more gym and having more indoor and outdoor courts... haha, afterall, this will be a good effort in encouraging more students to do sports. haha.

Yea, I checked the price of Kamal Bookstore ady, they're selling at RM230 each if you bought it from their shop in KL, not sure how much are they selling if you purchased in bulk though. I'm selling at Rm250 each includes postage, reasonable? You can check it on my thread at my signature.

can go swimming pool ma, can play tennis and squash also.

so for badminton, tennis, squash etc...
we have to have our own rackets and ball??

(one of the crowded reason for gym is the only one no need to pay,haha....)
