QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 10 2013, 12:26 AM) Never trust those sales agent..... they say anything to pleasing to you to make the sale. last resort : threaten to cancel the card, possible to work? anyhow, just signed up this cc and have 3 categories petrol, dining, mobile. I hope can utilise these card gao gao.....I spoke to the HLB Officer and he said NO WAIVER because the 10% rebate is very high to cover the AF cost.... He even recommended to take Gold instead of Platinum (though Plat's commission is higher) |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Nov 10 2013, 09:46 PM) Dining is not a good category. Often times, you can get better than 10% with other cards issuing banks. Might as well save the slot for other category unless you seldom go to departmental stores or hypermarkets. I can't think of other categories that I will spend that frequent in a month..... |

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Nov 14 2013, 10:27 PM) ronnie, time to boost up this thread like what you did for ocbc if can't make online payment through portal, can we register our WISE card into Maybank2u.com and make payment from there?personally request for page one to be updated with more details like: places where we thought is 10% but not. i've read through all the pages in this V. and here are my summary (please correct me if wrong), maybe can update 1st page. - the 10 swiping per month is based on posting date by vendor, not transaction date - AEON Supermarket doesn't fall into Groceries or Departmental Store - no bill payment on HLB portal - pay maxis via easy pay, maxis kiosk (kl sentral/gardens), reported can pay with payonline.com as well - maxis fiber via maxis broadband portal, reported can pay with payonline.com as well - TM no cashback - UNIFI no cashback - TNB no sucessful cashback yet??? |

QUOTE(Asgaard @ Nov 26 2013, 11:07 AM) Good news! From 18th November onwards till 31 December, all oversea transaction using WISE card will entitle 10% cash rebate subject to 10 swipe min rm50! No point....as it's only rebates based on your chosen categories. Even if I have departmental categories, it's only limited to Parkson, Aeon, Isetan, Metrojaya, Robinsons, Tangs and Sogo outlets.Sms WISE <space> card number without space to 66600! Spend spend spend! Source |

BUT still max rebate at RM100 per month |

HI guys, if I make online payment using UOB online to settle MAXIS mobile, broadband & home fiber payment....would it considered as mobile category?
I checked my statement and found to have rebate for mobile only. I did choose PETROL & DINING and every transaction made through WISE card is more than RM50 per transaction but I didn't get any rebate for it? weird.... This post has been edited by eric84cool: Feb 16 2014, 11:07 AM |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 23 2014, 11:26 PM) This is the same thign that happen to my friend when he got his first statement. I have 3 months statement didn't state the categories.....gonna call up HLB CS to screw gao gao..The Category chosen weren't on the system... lucky for him, HLB had credit back the 10% rebate manually. Before swiping, best to call HLB a few times (different days/time) to "reverify" the correct chosen categories. |
