HELP!!! My WISE card will be expired in 3 months time. I noticed the annual fee is very high!!! Anyone has successfully ask for the annual fee to be waived?

RM300!! Guess what i earned from the cash back all gone with this amount.

I am thinking of cancelling the card and apply again so that i can have another year of annual fee waived, is it workable?

Experience told me better go for Gold card instead of Platinum. At least the annual fee won't burnt a hole in our pocket.

Hi Guys, just to update i have called up the CS for my annual fee waiver request and his response is NOT POSSIBLE....so i just have to cancel my CC....Bye Bye WISE card!!!

FYI, Hong Leaong will charge the annual fees 2 months before expiry date. You guys need to alert on this!!

Never ask about the GST. But i see no reason they will charge to me since my card is still have two months validity before expiry.

BTW. the guy said it should have no problem for me to get the rebate if i still fulfill the min 10 swipes per month condition. Let's wait and see...will let U all know if i got any updated findings later!

BTW, why should we have to wait for 3 months for another new application?

OK, My card will be expired in April 2014, i called up the CS, he told me the annual fee will be charged after 28 Feb...So is it 2 months earlier?

I am not gonna take the risk and i will called up before 28 Feb to cancel my card. Maybe you can verify the CS statement with your own card and update us.

Guess there is some confuses over here...My physical card expiry is Apr 2017. However its near to a year that the bank is going to charge me annual fee....That's why i called up to clarify on the annual fees. Hope this will clear you up.
