Got one new rules for M Residence 2. I just went to check out with management. Every Grill installation now will require owner to go get consent letter from Mahsing then go to Majlis Perbandaran Selayang to get approval then only you can get your contractor to go inside and install the grill for you.

Also, those who had installed will need to apply the same. You will need certain documents from mahsing. I am doing this for 2 other units, they will issue me their authorize letter and copy of SNP then I will go MPS to apply permit.

Those other member who is busy and need my help could PM me. I will help out with minimal fees since I will be going there on Thursday or next Monday.

Thanks.

I believe the management made a mistake in this area. Me together with few other owner have clarified with MPS that grill installation does not need to apply for approval. Only those that are extending backyard with awning will need to do so. (Have also clarified this with MPS panel of architect)

The reason being is someone from Alpine complained to MPS and MPS has come to buat ronda and sealed off a few units @ Birch for the awning/backyard with roof. Previously Mah Sing management informed that backyard doesnt need to install for approval which mislead the owner. Apparently the management has received call from MPS regarding this issue two weeks ago however the management failed to clarify with MPS/take action to inform the owner about it. Now the owner have to be fined and make payment for the compound.

Wuaah.. I heard the fines is about RM12k per unit.
Today I went Mahsing unit, the girl Natasha told me need to go to MPS and apply.

Did you make a call to MPS to confirm? As I know from my contractor, they dont allow my contractor to install grill for the other 2 units.
*
Yea Natasha the one telling everyone that need the grill approval. There's a bunch of owner in the whatsapp group already went to MPS and told them to go home. No need apply if grill installation. I've also clarified this with my arkitek that was recommended by the MPS.

Do call MPS again to double confirm it. Don't trust what Mah Sing's CS is saying. They don't even know what they are doing now.

Yes the fines is 12.5k (I'm one of them)

I did made a call to MPS. The technical guy Izzat said small things like grill installation doesn't need permit. Thanks Chuckiee.

Then I made a call back to Mahsing, the girl now say ok, just ask your contractor to come and re-apply for grill installation.

Hope this is clear.

I believe we should all gang up and bash Mah Sing... They keep giving wrong information and causing problem to everyone

If the compound was really a result of wrong information given by mahsing, why no one asked for formal
explanation and seek compensation from them? If they had a hand in all these mess, they should find solution for this matters. Mahsing is a big developer and has long history in property development. They should know all this things in and out and we as their customers would expect a reasonable standard of advice given by their staffs as well. Anyone has done so???
*
How did you know that no one did it? We've asked for an explanation yet the only solution they told us is that you'll need to pay the fine and apply for the permit. Even now they are issuing the consent letter for all owner to apply for the permit(where they are trying to brush everything away if you see the content of that letter).

Even the staff told me that they have received calls 2 weeks ago from MPS regarding this issue but they have no black and white to be issued to the owner. Being said, they should have acted on it and get it done. doh.gif doh.gif

You've mentioned a reasonable standard of advice, but just from the Grill issue, do you see one? One day the CS say need apply, then another day say no need. How could they just mislead their customer like that?

Hi.Birch owner here.
I would like to know the procedure for the extension.
Can anyone add me to whatsapp group?

Thanks.
*
Is it the backyard extension? Look for a architect or draftsman for drawing then submit to mps for submission. Once approved which less than a week, then can begin work.

If you need one, you can pm me for the contact that I am currently using and compare the price yourself. Anyway Birch here too, so u will be my future neighbour too..

moving into my birch unit next week after the completion of reno and cleaning.
One thing i am very not satisfy is that the telco signal reception here is so poor till non existence.

No telephone line = no streamyx

not to mention there is no unifi...

sigh...is there any mitigation on this by the management?
*
Go to the management office behind the guard house to take the TM form and submit to them. We are pushing for 30 owner so that we can get tm to bring in streamyx soonest possible.

As it is not available currently, normal application method cannot be used as they replied ur area is not available.

It is more like convey your intention that you want to subscribe to streamyx/unifi. Then the telco will decide when they get the number they want

Wonder why is not mah sing who is supposed to do this, now the residences need to beg for even the most basic necessities (ie phone line) to setup here doh.gif
*
Huh.. I completed the form and submitted back on spot at the guard house there wo. Don't know what they are doing.

That's what I thought also. What if there's emergency? Mobile telco can't call since reception is bad + no phone line. Wait die only?

Yes. Backyard.
*
Eventually, it depend on how extensive you are doing to your backyard. Do elaborate more instead.

If you're looking towards extending it, do look for yourself an architect/draftsman for drawing and apply the permit at MPS beforehand. For a draftsman. it cost around 2k+ inclusive of submission.

Yes some part is covered depending on your luck. Let say Digi, over at my house the reception is zero, however when i walk toward the garden at birch, the reception is full.

So you gotta try it urself.
