In case any of you guys are still in a dilemma between the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One, here's a video comparison between the two on phonedog. It gives you a better understanding of the differences between these two top smartphone beasts in 2013.
Part 1:
http://www.phonedog.com/videos/samsung-gal...ogfight-part-1/Part2:
http://www.phonedog.com/videos/samsung-gal...ogfight-part-2/Interesting points to note:
-the keyboard on the S4 auto rotates into portrait mode much slower than the One
-eventhough the S4 uses a Qualcomm S600 chip clocked at 1.9GHz versus the One which also uses a Qualcomm S600 chip clocked at 1.7GHz, the benchmark on the S4 is slightly slower than the One, even though the One is on android 4.1 while the S4 is on android 4.2 which promises slightly better performance. But then again, this are all just benchmarks, different people might get different results. So it's definitely not the be all and end all. Just something I've noticed from the comparison video.
-and for the first time in phonedog dogfight history, the VERDICT is......... it's a TIE. There is no winner. It really comes down to preference and what you want out of your phone.
I quote:
"Encased in metal, the One is gorgeous and packs some very nice features such as HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Zoe. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 may look evolutionary, but it packs some incredible software goodies under the hood, including Air View, Air Gesture, and a wealth of camera enhancements. Samsung versus HTC. Plastic versus metal. Air Gesture versus HTC BlinkFeed."
