The One would have no problems since they did some engineering which allows active attenuation of the signals.

Then you might be facing a problem with your particular unit. Get it exchanged. Reviews and tons of members at Xda forums did not report about wifi issues. On the contrary, they all said wifi was one of the best points of this phone. The signal is very strong.

Interesting points to note:

-the keyboard on the S4 auto rotates into portrait mode much slower than the One

-eventhough the S4 uses a Qualcomm S600 chip clocked at 1.9GHz versus the One which also uses a Qualcomm S600 chip clocked at 1.7GHz, the benchmark on the S4 is slightly slower than the One, even though the One is on android 4.1 while the S4 is on android 4.2 which promises slightly better performance. But then again, this are all just benchmarks, different people might get different results. So it's definitely not the be all and end all. Just something I've noticed from the comparison video.

-and for the first time in phonedog dogfight history, the VERDICT is......... it's a TIE. There is no winner. It really comes down to preference and what you want out of your phone.

There are three levels to the contest.

1. The first level can be found on HTC Malaysia's FB page. Follow the clues and find the HTC truck at the clue's location. You then have to wait for the event to start which is usually around 8.30pm.

2. The second level is listening to a sound recording of a 'double agent' describing his location which is nearby the truck.

3.The third level would be looking at a puzzle on one of the HTC One that the promoters hold which contains four photos. The four photos are clues to a single word(there is actually an app of the game that's quite popular now, but I can't recall the name of that app). Once you've deciphered the four photos, and got the word, you have to RUN as fast as you can to locate the double agent. If you see a person who you think is the double agent, you then proceed to ask him, "are you the HTC double agent?". If he says yes, then you tell him the secret code which is from the four photos. If your code is correct, you win the contest and the phone!!!

Nah, just one phone per day. I arrived late on Monday, so I did not even hear the clues. As I was approaching the truck, I saw the announcer said GO!!! The contestants ran like hell, and within 2 minutes, one guy won the contest. So I wasn't even participating. I was just a spectator.

Yesterday I arrived on time, but couldn't decipher the clue. So no luck too. We asked the winner yesterday though, how did u manage to figure out the clue, he just gave a very helpless look and said, he didn't really know, just tried his luck, coz a few guys in front of him also tried, but did not gave the secret agent the right code. So he just tried saying a code that he THOUGHT might work, and voila, he won

Yup.

But it was quite fun and thrilling la. Kinda like running man like you said. Plus, I got to touch and hold a black HTC One for a while. Didn't really get to play with it. But the phone feels really really good in the hand. The curved aluminium unibody back of the HTC One fits into the palm nicely. That's my opinion. Owh, and did I mention there were some cute promoter girls there too?

Either pre-order with senQ or wait for the retailers like satu gadget, seven mobile or directd. They might sell it cheaper, and they might allow the use of SKMM voucher too. But as of now, they are still clueless about the ETA of stocks, whereas senQ will begin delivery for the pre-orders on the 5th of May if rumours are true.

You can use it at senQ. A deposit of RM100 is required to pre-order the phone. The balance which is RM2199 would then be paid when you collect your phone. However, you can use the SKMM when collecting your phone, so you would just have to pay the balance of RM1999 instead of RM2199.

Lol, students are eligible too. University and college students. If you're in secondary school then no la. Coz you need to be between the age of 21 - 30 with an income below RM3000 for you to be eligible.

Why, what did you find wrong with the camera? Feedbacks are that it outperforms even the One X's camera. It only loses when it comes to zooming in.
