how to transfer all the layer in one document, to another document 4 Adobe Illustrator?

afaik, i'd lock all layers except 1.. then select all objects and copy.. then go to the other document, create new layer and paste the objects inside.
repeat the whole process. |

unless you're willing to sacrifice the layers and copy all the objects into a new layer in the new document. maybe you could bring this layer copying thing up in the next Adobe wish list.  |
