mate, you must really love her. either that, you're scared of her, cos you're letting her dictate your every move. i'm sorry if this offends you, and i don't mean to pry. But it's your hard earned money, you choose how you wanna spend it. And it's not like you don't spend any on her, she's a very lucky girl. in fact I would guess that you spend most on her and kept only some for yourself. I would understand if she is your wife. Maybe she wants it all for her, that's why she's nagging so much. She's lucky you're not wasting your money gambling or on booze and other women. You're just buying Lego & toys. She's got no right to dictate your spending. I'm a girl, and even I think however she's treating you is wrong. Again, I'm sorry, but i think if it's too much work, and you can't be yourself, and too much sacrifice, it's just not worth. Or she'd better be your one in a million or something.

Haunted house is a very beautiful set. It's the first set made to look runned down, abandoned and in ruins. It's my most favourite one, and I was going nuts when it was released on halloween 2012!
And managed to secure a set, built it over the weekend almost immediately.

One day, I might tear it down and probably use the green bricks to rebuild the green grocer

LOL. Well, I don't expect anyone to get me my Lego. I spend my own money for the things I love and want. I'm high maintenance for my own standards, I wish I was simpler and I wasn't into expensive toys and stuff. Cos it's really killing me... softly!

Oh that's a lot of work! But i'm sure all your efforts paid off. Cos you're the only active MOC-er I know and I wish I could do the same with lego bricks but I haven't got supplies.

I'm trying out bricklink, putting each item in my wanted list and getting notified every 2 seconds it's starting to annoy me. I really don't know how to work this out. It's a tedious process, very tedious.
but I really wanna buy the parts for my "project". It's faster using excel, but i don't know how to do that; listing all the parts in excel to upload to bricklink. And, I don't know what Microsoft Access is for LOL.

Custom modular yes... maybe some apartment buildings. most importantly right now tho i want build the cafe corner... I know chaud advised me against this but i'm gonna substitute alot in terms of colours, probably change the whole colour scheme, so i'm hoping it will be a lot cheaper than following the original colours. if it works with the cafe corner, i will try rebuild the other 2 retired modulars. instead of buying ngam2 the parts, i order a bit extra la for most common parts, so while doing the CC i can also keep stock for future MOCs.

maybe i need your help for parts or sourcing parts or bricklinking...

Don't be disheartened with the price. It's a wonderful project! plus, it's for memory's sake, no? And this is by far the best kampung house out of all you've tried out in LDD. I absolutely love the attention to details! You should be proud of yourself. Not many people can come out with this out of memory.

Chup! Chup! Haih... but this Series 10 surely make my pocket holes bigger.... and with that gold fella. I wish I'm at the lego store to spend time picit2 myself and possibly save a lot of money hunting it then buying the full set.
