It's RM999.90 for Tower Bridge. Many sets there when I last visited in January 2013. Not MISB though due to the weight of the bricks.
*
i think build this one is satisfying enough for me and can put on my desk

should cost < RM100 lol.

The hospital has its charm, but I too cannot accept the fact it cost so much for a simple building plus some minifigs, one of which does not have a proper printing (the doctor, torso and leg different color of white jacket).
*
i love my 4429 set! i went and doubled the building, added a bigger ward and hired like 7 more staff to join in.
part of the expensive is due to the helicopter and little ambulance. but its really nicer than the previous one which was set on a hill

Btw, does anyone here have a NEW 32x32 Tan Baseplate for sale? I need one to MOC a Modular Building... Well, try to MOC anyway... haha!
*
32x32 is a big moc for modular... anyway i dont think you should care abt the base plate colour. it'll be covered by bricks and tiles anyway

anyone has lego 4842 hogwarts?

what do u think about it? i see a set on BL w/o minifigs, is ~rm300, rm600 with minifigs.

i wonder if rm300 w/o minifigs is worth the building...

Hmmm... not quite.... The walkway will be covered by tiles for sure but the interior if I can find the right baseplate colour I don't plan on covering with tiles... Maybe I'll just start with a blue or green baseplate first and see how it goes...  smile.gif

guys do anyone know where to get off the shelf 10x10" sized boards?
Its like a substitute for base plate. So that if you build something 32x32 tile size but dont use base plate u can put it on the board...

Hello folks, I've been following this thread for the past 3 versions. I must say that all of you are a group of interesting
people becoz we share the same interest - LEGO.

I have to admit following this thread is very 'poisonous' indeed. Heart rate increases when seeing those spams/MOC smile.gif

But what amazes me the most is your willingness to share your knowledge, related experience, CS and showing your impressive collections respectively. Keep it up.

One thing for sure is I cannot keep up with your almost bottomless funds to bankroll your hobby.... Another amazing stuff! smile.gif

This is my small collection from childhood days including my first LEGO - 1978 Police Patrol car. Took me 6 months to find most of the missing items from BL to reconstruct the CITY theme.

My next project is to restore the old LEGO Space.

I used to have the police boat too, and the bigger fire boat.

Space set, fuuuuu u got the legendary 928!!!! And all those cratered base plates, very rare to find good condition one...

I was planning to recreate some of the old space sets but parts are very difficult to get esp those blue transparent ones.

If u want to chat abt space set and recreation, do let me know.

nice, you need to make like 10 of these lol. lego seem to be coming out with tons of minifigs every year now.

QUOTE(rkhalis @ Mar 31 2013, 03:23 PM)
Yes 928 was the legendary set before newer legends such SW sets took over smile.gif I have to agree parts are very difficult to get for the old space sets. I source it out usually from Netherlands and Germany becoz 2 bad experiences with US traders (missing parcel using USPS standard mail).

Lets have a chat... I really like your Penang house
*
i have a few "dream" sets to recreate , sets i nvr able to afford

i probably would buy that bundle if it incl shipping/COD lor.

first two sets are really nice, but the log cabin is very underwhelming and small.

Dear all, I give some early concept of Lego Kampung House with two different roof style. This design is based on my grandfathers home in the kampung last time, built over 60 years ago.

simple roof, simple walls

movable roof, 2 layer walls

that's so cool vey99 are you an architect? what software are you using for this?
*
you can do in Lego Digital Designer (LDD)
The use LDD2POVRAY to convert it to raytrace file for the above result.

But the rendering is super slow unless i set to 800x600 at 8/12 quality
