Fraps if long duration recording they will split the vid after a certain time. Like part by part.

Fraps, only 30sec per video if you use the free version and there will be watermark.
Just purchase the license, definitely worth it if you always want to record gaming footage.

If you don't want to buy license, CamStudio is the one worth to try out.

Bandicam. Better file compression compared to FRAPS.

Free version allows up to 10 minutes of recording per session.

This looks like a good alternative for Fraps.

I've used it for a while, and I can agree with that.

A 8 minute plus recording with Bandicam only takes up 188MB opposed to >1GB for FRAPS.

So it does compress on the process? Or it doesn't allow Full HD recording in free version?

Yes, the compression is done while recording.

And you can record HD videos as stated on its homepage.

Good to hear, will try it out next time.
Hope it won't decrease FPS as much as Fraps does.

How much Internet bandwidth is needed at minimum to broadcast video?
I'm only using 1Mbps streamyx at home, I think the upload speed is too slow to do a live broadcast.
