From what I know, LG's ZeroGap thingy means the touch sensor is printed directly onto the glass, instead of digitizer and glass having a seperate layer, so if the glass broke.. shocking.gif

Defender models have a sheet of plastic that covers the screen and acts as a screen protector. It's sort of the ultimate solution but a bit of a compromise. They also come with a belt holster blink.gif

Sounds like the staff over at Penang are kind of err.. sweat.gif

Got my entire N4's motherboard replaced after a 3 week wait, staff was friendly and didn't even asked for the warranty card, only glanced at my Digi receipt blink.gif and wasn't charged. Only issue was the 3 week + wait doh.gif

To simplify, all kernels aim to get the best balance out of battery and performance.

But for example, one kernel trades speed for more battery, while the other does the opposite.

Also, some kernels have different default color settings, one might look warmer, the other more colder or more saturated etc, some even offer the option of tuning the colors.

Question for them xda lurkers,

Any idea how to find out the hardware manufacture details w/o referring to the box? Cause since my whole board is changed its no longer the same IMEI doh.gif

Judging by IMEI alone and reading through that huge thread, mine's now either 301k or 302k, rev 11. It was 212k rev 11.
