I hardly read books tongue.gif

+1 to Chrome part. The only reason I uses chrome is because of the deep-integration of sync-across-devices. Bookmarks? History? Current tab @ other devices? Nothing to worry anymore as everything is tied to my Google Account thumbup.gif
*
Same here, only use Chrome cause all of that awesome sync laugh.gif

Any solution guys ?

Try dirty flashing (flash without wipe) your AOKP ROM, gapps, then flash kernel again.

Whatsapp convo is stored in storage memory instead of /data, so as long you didn't wipe internal storage, whatsapp will auto restore your convo when you install whatsapp again.

i absolutely hate the status bar of android lol

can't show carrier (and also carrier strength on right, i wish it on left) , got 2 battery icon coz stock one can't show left how many %,

i tried status bar + , but then notifcation menu become hard to pull out, super status bar a bit fail for me too

any other better app that can do that? without the need to root?

PS: i also hate the fact that it won't show unread count of whatsapp, mail, sms those on stock. i install missedit! but sometimes already read all, but it still shows the unread count there =.='
*
Switching OS also means an interface change. Not everything in iOS is in android after all sweat.gif

Layouts for both OS look similar at first, but are actually quite different, and to those who were used to one, will find the other hard to get used to.

One of the reasons people root their device is to have more control over customizations and the like, here's my statusbar for example (from an earlier screenshot)

As for whatsapp, try using dashclock's whatsapp extension.

He changed my nexus 4 battery , button , circuit board and still didnt solve a single problem. Then he changed the screen and bezel together 2 times thus solve a single problem but create another new problem. Seriously i dont know wtf training did lg gave their technician.
*
Either your phone got some kind of curse or the technician there just didn't give much of a damn about his job sweat.gif

For your screen, I suppose best you can do (without asking for a new one) is to mess with custom kernels which allows color tuning.

No wipe's needed for flashing supersu, that said you'll need install busybox too.

Actually what does this busy box for and do?

Although I am rooted and flashed with xylon, I do not have busy box...
*
Busybox is a set of commands / tools that's needed for some apps that use root access (eg. Titanium Backup)

Im using titanium backup but i dont have busybox
*
Busybox is preinstalled in all custom ROMs, you'll only need to install it if you're coming from stock ROM.

I am running on xylon but don't see reinstalled busy box?

Also I am using titanium back up. What would the impact be without busy box installed?
*
As said, busybox is not really an app, more like a set of instructions / tools for other apps to take advantage of.

All custom ROMs already have busybox built in, for example, Titanium Backup will not work unless your ROM has busybox.

I want to unlock my bootloader and all but I kinda find it a waste of the warranty if I do it. haha. Any one of you guyz straight away unlocked the bootloader after you bought the phone?
*
I do that on all of my android phones brows.gif

Anyways, I had sent my N4 for warranty once and it got fixed without charge.

Used to, then it started to peel. Then I moved to Cruzerlite TPU, then I moved to official bumper. I still use the TPU case if I am going for some outdoor activities.

The official bumper is well designed IMO, looks like a part of the phone.

Thinking of getting the official bumper, any idea if anyone's selling it locally? Otherwise I'll probably need to order it via Google Play blush.gif
