QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Mar 27 2013, 12:58 AM) It seems Nillkin Crystal HD SP is quite easy to get scratches... Anyone here know who/where is selling Ringke Slim N4 Casing and also N4 SP(not Nillkin)? Thanks. QUOTE(Norameen @ Mar 27 2013, 01:02 AM) agree..my nilkin front sp sudah lama calar...malas mau tukar....tapi sakit mata memandang...so nak mintak suggestion untuk cheap and affordable reliable sp... Finally managed to snap some shots of my screen protector's condition on my N4 in order to post my reply Huge images ahead, 56k warning » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And yes, it is SGP's Oleophobic Screen Protector Given it's price, it's pretty terrible in terms of resisting against hairline scratches. I usually put my phone in pocket or bag separately with anything else. Never wiped the screen with my clothes except microfiber clothes at home which I wash weekly with hot water. So seriously speaking, I don't even know where did those scratches come from. |

OK guys, here's my review on the dbrand vinyl skin titanium black:
After using it 1 day, I like the back feel of the skin, it feels like metal and wood, and it's also scratch resistant (stronger than plastic film) which yesterday I tried to scratch with my sharp key as hard as I can, no scratch at all, it also makes my nexus 4 looks premium and metallic,I notice there's 3 looks on the skin, when you turn side ways, it looks like a bit black and white, when you see it on front side, it looks like a line from top to bottom everywhere, the third one is when you look, there's like a shiny dot on the skin. OK let's talk about the cut out, the cut out is perfectly fit, no more or less space, completely cover all sides of the glass, I successfully apply 100% perfect on the 5th try, easier than I expected, so overall, I think the $12 is worth it for the skin |

It's in my pocket and table(screen facing up) most of the time. Also, anyone using Matte SP here would want to share their experiences? |

QUOTE(DarkSilver @ Mar 27 2013, 09:31 PM) That's retarded already for an expensive SP. It's damn sad actually. It's my first time ever spending so much on a screen protector. Usually I'll just stick with those RM3 ones and they scratch real easily As for the Nillkin Clear HD SP, I also don't know where those scratches come from. It's in my pocket and table(screen facing up) most of the time. Also, anyone using Matte SP here would want to share their experiences? But at this rate, SGP doesn't seem to live up its name at its price and the amount of time taken to scratch Would love to hear SGP Ultra Crystal's user feedback tho, as my friend's Ultra Crystal SP doesn't seem to be as worse as mine |

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Mar 27 2013, 09:12 PM) OK guys, here's my review on the dbrand vinyl skin titanium black: sounds convincing, one question. Is the sticker reusable? just stick back to the 'paper' ?After using it 1 day, I like the back feel of the skin, it feels like metal and wood, and it's also scratch resistant (stronger than plastic film) which yesterday I tried to scratch with my sharp key as hard as I can, no scratch at all, it also makes my nexus 4 looks premium and metallic,I notice there's 3 looks on the skin, when you turn side ways, it looks like a bit black and white, when you see it on front side, it looks like a line from top to bottom everywhere, the third one is when you look, there's like a shiny dot on the skin. SGP overpriced as always actually.
Now, it's even worse. Anyway, who's selling Matte SP for Nexus 4 here? I am interested. It's a way to avoid scratches and stupid fingerprint. |

I use matte last few months for 1 month, no scratch and damage, also screen guard brand, I use clear for 2 days and got scratch already! even though it's same brand screen protector, I think matte provide more scratch resistantAs for the Nillkin Clear HD SP, I also don't know where those scratches come from. QUOTE(stormlcc @ Mar 27 2013, 05:11 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « sorry to burst your bubble guys, but WHO CARES ABOUT BENCHMARKS anymore??? We long time android users got over benchmarks a long time ago since the age of eclair. Now it's all about how we feel to use the device, in the real world. That's why most apple users chose apple products, and that's why most of us Nexus owners chose Nexus over all other flagships because the feel of using it and the user experience is a lot better than any other choices. For most of us, we've been through most (if not all) other manufacturers with their heavy skin jobs, in my personal opinion at least, natural beauty (vanilla android) is better than plastic surgery (skin jobs). and using benchmark figures to compare devices is like comparing horsepower of cars instead of really driving them, both are totally different things when u only look at the numbers saying that a ferrari 360 is faster than a Honda NSX because the prancing horse has more hp than the Honda, but in real life the NSX pounced the 360 in almost everything. QUOTE(cowithgun @ Mar 27 2013, 05:16 PM) agree. benchmark only tell 1 part of the story. and in this case, i m comparing specifically on S600 and S4 Pro. ps: there are people who still care about benchmark. QUOTE(Xirality @ Mar 27 2013, 05:57 PM) Benchmark is just a "reference" for how power is your hardware, user experience is another story though. Reply to all...example. See what iPad 4 and Nexus 10 does, iPad 4 normally get 2500+ in browsermark while Nexus 10 get 3000 and some even 3700. But Android tablet optimized app is so limited and iPad specific app is growing more and more. For me Android tablet just doesn't work, phone works very well though User experience > benchmark score Just my opinion, don't flame. The thing is... When you can't get your hands on the real thing, it's benchmark that tells a little part about the phone. Benchmark also tells the RAW performance of the phone itself. And... I do agree that benchmark means nothing in practical usage but for the purpose of surveying/research/looking around to fill my free time, what else can I see without looking at benchmark? No matter it's battery benchmark/GPU benchmark/CPU benchmark, it tells at least a little about the performance of the phone. Just for fun, as a hobby or anything Benchmark still makes sense. Else why all the review website (engadget, gsmarena, phonearena etc etc) still includes them in their review? [You may try to answer this question |
