just tried to put it on... i have no idea how to put it on at 1st

its now clipping at my ears... enjoying...

listening with my portable player now. dunno if its the player or its the song...

the phone seems abit revealing, pretty unforgiving for my 192kbps jpop.

lol, trying to sell ur amp?
*

won't even bother making portable amps anymore. stopped all development on the sijosae class AB a few while ago.

the reason that i've asked CooBra is because medufsaid mention that Futura mentioned that he found out that the KSC-75 improved a lot from amplification. he got a few of my sijosae class AB to be tested for a while. and the question is there to confirm whether CooBra found the same thing since he also have one of my amps.

using it with portable 1st...
will use it with my main source and amp later
maybe will sound more unforgiving with my sterile source... doc where is ur SOHA??

i need coloration~!  blush.gif  tongue.gif

try burning the unit for a few while. the highs could be smoother, with better bass definition.

the most annoying part in DIY amps is the 'lead/wait time'. the exact reason i didn't ask for a full payment upfront. one part missing, then the whole build is stuck.

using it with portable still.
the lows sounds well controlled for RM70 phone, ex71 *cough* she9500 *cough*

the mids sounds okay...high abit of.... making my ears itchy blush.gif

burn that thing for a few days and you should be able to get rid of those annoying harshness. hopefully.

^ and chernloon, wants some teh PPA v.2 to test? they have too much details.
not bright, but too much detail. have no word to explain it. but on live recordings, you could hear so many people clapping, saying things, background noises. heck, i could hear people speaking in the background while listening to my Search-Unplugged 'Live Di Timur Jauh' CD. sweat.gif

According to most of the sifu here, they will gain a lot of improvement from amplifier.
*

naah.. varies with each setup.
kindda like shi# goes in, shi# goes out. amplified of course. biggrin.gif

you need to have a good source, a good interconnect, a good headphone. plugging in a good amp into a not-so-good source, with a not-so-good interconnect and not-so-good headphone will turn out to be not-so-good output.

SHP805 is comparable to SHP895?
*

i believe the SHP-895 is higher end model. which is better sounding.

ijan hows the 895 vs the HD555
*

if i'm guessing correctly, the HD555 is better than the HP-895. guess you can't hope more at double the pricepoint.

Bringing the HD650 out for a walk is okay...  biggrin.gif

But luging the amp of choice (LD III, SOHA) out together in your backpack with some squirells generating power on some mini power generator is not!
Just j/k  tongue.gif

naah, we use hamsters now. squirells are hard to source for.
