perhaps lowering down the volume would help? can't wait to get my KOSS smile.gif
if it's leaking too much noise, then i will use back the stock earphone in the library

QUOTE(jihchuan @ Oct 17 2008, 12:48 AM)
haha..d library is quiet, so u can hear ur music wit lower volume tere..stil ok for tat situation..
*
Yup, I saw many people used the open air type headphones in library, and surprisingly they are lot more quiet than those typing SMS or simply talking. Except there was one time a guy using clip on/open air headphone, he listened at very high volume, I could hear his music several desks from where he sat.

Also can't wait to get my Koss right now.

KSC75 is earclip, not that type that cover your whole ear. So, you should be expecting sound leakage.
If you use it in the library, with full blast the whole floor of library can hear(maybe). laugh.gif
But, you will  wub.gif  the sound smile.gif
*
Wish that my purchase won't hurt my ear since many claimed that earclip is not that comfortable

Maybe we need to mouth-blow(tiup) or use USB vacuum to clean the sponge free from dust on daily basis tongue.gif

actually yes. but u have to provide postage to US, and back from US.
which is quite expensive also as it is calculated in USD.
*
If I'm not mistaken the shipping cost to and back from US should be more than RM100. Yet buy a new pair of KSC 75 costs less than that here in our beloved motherland

There you go. It is less than RM100.
RM8.10 if the price hasn't increased (Normal Air-Mail with no tracking)
the Return is USD6, currently 1USD is around RM3.6 = RM21.60

Total is around RM30.
*
Sorry my mistake. Posted wrong information. I calculated the above RM100 cost based on the eBay purchase I made before, since they charged me over RM50 for shipping alone

Mine also reached home already, but I was not home at the time. Bit pissed off about that. Now I need to fetch it up at Pusat PosLaju Bangi

jiaxun, is it really that we can call them and ask to arrange a time to send again to our house? That will be nice so I don't need to burn expensive car fuel to get to Bangi

for me is enjoying it while burn in. smile.gif
it is fun to enjoy the process of burn in.
*
Will try to do that. Planning that I should do both enjoy listening and burning during daylight, and white noise burning when I'm sleeping at night

I just got back from Bangi, picked up my Koss at PosLaju there.

After I received the Koss, I did not went home right away. Instead I spent about 20 minutes in car with engine running testing the Koss.

I was expecting it'll quite uncomfortable to wear, but after I put it on I realized my was wrong completely. This earclip is extremely comfortable. Much more comfort than my current IEM Philips SHE8500

The first thing that this Koss impress me is its clarity. I can hear more instruments now. The bass is less than the IEM, but I expect it will improve after several days of burning.

I'm listening to it right now, its comfortable and enjoyable smile.gif

Thanks jiaxun

eh, didn't ask them to deliver again?

Yup, background instrument can be heard clearly. After burn in, the sound will be soften, where the bass become muddy(deep and low).
You will love it  cool.gif
*
No I did not ask them to re deliver, because I can't be patient to wait for my Koss laugh.gif

If ask them sure they will deliver to my house around evening or tomorrow or worse several days later. So this morning I went to their centre right away to pick mine up

Agree, the Koss sounds sharpy fresh out of box. Now after burn for one hour, it has been soften bit. I wish after one week my Koss starts to show it true potential nod.gif

on my koss. so far, the more burn in. the more detail and smoothness come out.
mine already burned in for more than 1800 hours. and seriously new ksc75 can't fight at all. all person tested mine set vS new recabled ksc75 can immediately tell the big different within the first 10 second they put the headphone on their ear.
*
Wow, that is more than 2 months of burning. What's your favourite burning source PcWork? White noise, pink noise, or just normal listening?

i use for normal listening only. and gaming/movie also last time. now no more. just pure music.
that is the first batch ksc75 ordered by alamaklor from USA. i think 2 years ago. use until now. really huge different compare to new one. even my housemate has one ksc75 she use everyday for almost 1 year already. still cannot fight mine. both were recabled.
*
I guess I'll need around 5-6 months to reach your level of burning. I burn my headphone while sleeping with natural white noise comes from FM radio. So I need to make it a daily habit, keep burning and burning

u do need 5 to 6 months with that, just few minutes and your KSC-75 will be burnt to crisp
*
5-6 month for new Koss to reach burning level equivalent to 2 years old Koss, I think its a reasonable target
