I decided to buy 4 or 3 months for now.........i very intrested in the 360..couse i heard its a powerfull machine...but i oledi own a Xbox,PS2....But the only things i notice is not many title that r selling here...only a few....


Between Xbox 360 and a new notebook??which should i buy????

note book and 360 are 2 very different things..
do you want to play games in your house all the time?
or would you rather be mobile?
do you want to use the notebook for gaming,or work?

i can understand if you're comparing the 360 to another console,but notebook? first time i've heard that...

U have to ask urself which want u really want and whihc is the best for u. As for me .. i would rather get the Xbox360 over the laptop. To me, I dun really need a laptop bcos I already have a home PC and I dun travel much at all.

Currently there are alot of game for the Xbox360 and there are also alot of great future games coming for the console.

I think u should wait till november this year to buy a new console...I think if u r willing to wait till november..why don't u just get a sony playstation 3 which gonna come out around november at Japan...and don't when to arrive at malaysia...

Yeah, it's really up to your needs. You can't compare a notebook to a 360. You should ask yourself, which item will benefit me the most?

I ain't gonna repeat what they all already said but think about what you need it for. Over the top gaming (360 of course) or multiple uses like internet and MSN for example. then get laptop la. Personally I only use a laptop most of the time so 360 for me would be perfect. but a freaking month worth of exams first ... DARN IT

no need to consider... get both Xbox 360 and PC

for a notebook minimum will cost roughly 4K...

Xbox 360 - RM 1.5 K
Dell PC - RM 2.2 K
2 Xbox 360 Games - RM 300

he is asking about NOTEBOOK,not PC....

giving him the features of PC and at the same time having Xbox 360.. sacrificing mobility.....

if he really wanted mobility.. then i believe he wouldn't need to ask that question...

well if u love to mod the old xbox why dont you wait first till they came out with a stable mod chip...then we can mod it...though it imposible know that wat "they" said but then i trust our fellow modder will find a way to do it....for the time being get a laptop if you want to show offf that is...lepak at starbuck or sumtin....

you asks whether to buy xb360 or not in MS forum, of coz everyone will say buy it. try asking about buying xb360 in Sony forum, i'll bet everyone will say don't buy, wait for ps3

A 360 and a notebook are 2 very different things in value and use you can't compare them like that. If you have extra money lying around and u like the idea of playing with ur friends online while chatting down the house (saying BOO right before caping him in the ass) is so different from just typing 'ur 0wnd' go ahead and get a 360

if ur idea of a good console is one were all the games are RM5 each then you go right on ahead and buy ur notebook

Want to play a next-gen FPS, get Perfect Dark Zero or Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Want a time-eating RPG? Eldar Scrolls 4 Oblivion. Fighting game with polygonal boobs? Dead or Alive 4 or Rumble Roses XXX.

for singapore xlive account 12months is around rm210 like that meanwhile for US xlive account around rm180.

its actually not as bad as i thought.... because i saw xbox live official site stated 19.90 for 13 months... but that's US version... asian version i only saw it @ play-asia.com which is quite expensive for 3 months...

see that's the thing you need a laptop to work in your office, watch movie and listen to cds. you dont need a xbox360 lah. and another thing is please take note now japanese set selling around rm1300 only lah and the new asian launch set selling for rm1480. you can always pm djinn if you need clarification because he's doing a bulk on 360.

Generally speaking PS3 and Xbox360 are on the same league. X360 wins for easier to program, PS3 will a very tedious platform to produce game for, remember why Sega Saturn failed? So, to come up with the same scene or title, X360 need a shorter time which is very critical for game developer, shorter time means smaller risk. The first generation Cell processor is not very powerfull in fact the memory bandwidth could kill the speed the it gains. Wait for second generation is better lar. If you don't mind suffering mediocre games for the initial PS3 launch(cause the developers tends to utilisize only the 1 main CPU and ignore the rest), then go ahead.

Wondering... since most games are coming out for Sony and MS platform...

Would it be wise to still get PS3.. if it's above 2K ?

haiyoh ps3 will be definately absolutely more than 2k lah. and wait till the launch and see lah how much is the game itself.

again, it's very subjective lah up to individuals themselves. different ppl different point of view. if my fund is enough i'll get ps3 during the launch if not will be getting it in 2007. and you must always remember that cannot compare like that ps3 and 360 then another war will surface here again. both have their adavantages and disadvantages lah so if you got the $$$ grab both.

just wait la for the price to drop....if im not mistaken the PS3 might be a long wait till u see any local games on it. If i remember correctly one of the reasons they created the Blue-Ray discs were to also prevent piracy.....so im sure there will be people working day and night to crack it...but then again, it'll take sum time. But back to the topic title, i think this round the MS has done well with an early release and getting all the big time game developers to make them a pretty impressive line up of games this round i read that they are currently discussing a deal to get a GTA game on the 360

don't forget nintendo revolution and gameking III, huhuhu

if you got the extra budget then just go ahead with hdtv if not just do like me play my games using 21" crt monitor. the quality is much2 more better compared to normal tv.

I'm just using a 34" 480P TV right now.. HDTV can wait till the price drop some more
