Want to know if the XBONE is IP-locked. Otherwise getting games digitally via XBL is a viable option. Getting mine tomorrow or the day after without any games.

Going to LA on the 30th. One day after Black Friday. Not inclined to fight with the BF crowd. If I can't get the games digitally, I plan to get some physical disc games from GameStop, Walmart or Best Buy there.

I'll have to try my best to get online purchase work. CC or purchase gift cards. Coz I'm dying to play Killer Instinct! Unless I can get hold of the Killer Instinct: Ultimate Pin Edition from Microsoft Store in Century City LA.

Yes you can. The output is the same. It was the same with Xbox 360. Until I can get a PAL XBONE, I'll be reusing my old 300 transformer.

Do not trust this guy on LYN. His concerns are for his own, and not for others. Gentleman's agreement for the XBONE, and he backed out of it and I quote:

Im just glad it all turns out to the better of us, none of us gets conned by his conniving ways. I'm also thankful that because of his act, I managed to get an Australian model from Impulse/Luke and I dont have to even hunt for a stepdown transformer now. Sure, it's 400 more expensive that what he's offering, but I go for peace of mind than hunting for the cheapest but not even secured a unit.

Having so much fun with mine! PHEW! Just resurfaced from the AWESOMENESS that is XBONE! I'm sorry PS4, but XBONE takes the cake when it comes to that feeling of "next-gen-ness". Nothing like tell XBONE to turn on and off and snapping apps and running them by voice command alone. Killer Instinct is FREAKING GORGEOUS (it's raining metal sparks!)!, Ryse is to action adventure for Crytek, as to their Crysis is to shooters, EYE-BLEEDING BEAUTIFUL, there is no distinction between cutscenes and in-game graphics anymore! Forza Motorsport 5 HAS HUUUUUUUUUGEEE draw distance, you can see the mountains, meadows, fields and beyond so far as the eye can see, it's unbelievable, and

I'm installing Dead Rising 3 now. Every single time I load these three games so far (KI, Ryse and Forza 5) I cant't stop but admire their EYEGASMIC BEAUTY.
Compared to PS4, the only thing that comes close to measuring up to XBONE's lineup so far is Resogun.

Both consoles allow log in via facial recognition, but only the XBONE gones one step further to make the whole experience more personal. XBONE's Kinect sees in the dark, while PS4 Camera need light for facial login. "The Playroom" game while using the DualShock 4 and PS4 Camera is nice and all, but I cannot shake the feeling of how awesome XBONE's experience was.

I'll eat crow, swallow my pride and admit I was wrong with my initial thought of XBONE being a shipwreck of a console with its previous blunders (always online, DRM, region lock), but now with all those restriction uplifted, XBONE seems to be the better console, compared to the PS4.

Or maybe I'm just experiencing XBONE hype. I certainly didn't feel hyped with the arrival of the PS4, even though Injustice was a riot to play multiplayer with. Killzone Shadow Falls just didnt do it for me, shooter-wise. XBONE absolutely killed it with its fighter(KI), racer(Forza 5), action adventure(Ryse). Although I'd say, because due to Crytek's reputation of making beautiful games but not so deep gameplay, Ryse is feeling more like Crysis: It's a joy to look at, but the gameplay is kinda repetitious. But it's a repetitiously beautiful game to play at that!

Purchased the Ultimate Add-on for KI. I'm hungry for this game, it's been 17 years.

Ryse continue to jawdrop, so does Forza 5. 720p Dead Rising 3 is not half bad, especially with that many undeads on screen.

Quick tip for those whose thinking of restarting Forza 5 from scratch. I had a good friend come over last night and we burned rubber on Forza. We played in my signed in XBL profile, and had some achievements and progress after a short play. Today I wanted to start anew, since we just were fooling around with the game last night, and I wanted to start fresh. No options in the menu. Found out that by holding both triggers, both bumpers and Y button at the Start screen allows you to delete your saved profile and start fresh.

No luck so far on Ryse, looks like I'll have to continue where we left off last night.

EDIT: spoke too soon. Died then chose "Timeline" on Ryse. Choose "New Campaign". Done. Why they hide it there, beats me.

I edited on the Ryse issue. There aren't any way to manage your saves. They're uploaded automatically to the cloud servers.

Streamyx problem. The days of multiplaying on 360 on GOW brings up a lot of painful connection memories. We considered ourselves lucky if there are no connection drop in an hour of play.

Will be hunting for the Killer Instinct Tournament Edition FightStick while I'm in LA in 2 days time. *right after Black Friday, thankfully, I don't wanna be fighting with the BF crowd like I did last year for the WiiU!*


Need to get this as my combos in KI is already stagnating at 24hits max. Need to further learn the nuances of combo linkers, openers, and autos.

Also will be looking to get these two Energizer controller chargers. It's especially useful for the XBONE controller since it also includes the rechargable battery with the chargers.



I had the PS3 and XB360 versions of these, and after all these while, they still work. Tough hombrès these are.

The only thing missing from that haul is the Killer Instinct Tournament Edition 2 FightStick. Have to wait for it to be available on Amazon on Dec. 13th.
