Have helped my colleague done the soundproof on all his Saga FLX 4 doors. It does improve into a lot cabin quietness.

Buying the material online and paying my worker to install it, the cost is very minimal and satisfying.

I have done STP Gold audio package for front doors, while roof/rear doors/floor board material was bought from yohannes and installed with my worker. My Preve is very much a quiet cabin though, cruising happily on the PLUS highway while enjoy the ICE.

Worth it or not? If you ask me, definitely. Just need to do it in the right way.

V12Kompressor did on his Saga, ask for his opinion

Its very easy to tell the difference. Install a decent sound system into your vehicle (have a friend installed those entry level component speaker).

We did soundproof half way and hoop into the car, the sound quality from door left (with soundproof) much more superior than the one without soundproof (door right).

The difference will be much more obvious on those more expensive setup. There are still a lot things for you to explore before come into any conclusion of whether soundproof or good sound system more worth the money.
