Read a couple of pages before or search by my posting. I wrote several LTE test benchmarks using Maxis LTE on Thursday.

If you have an old Maxis sim card, lets say more than 6 months old, chances are that it cannot use the LTE network and in this case you MUST change your sim card. When I changed my sim from the big chip to the small micro sim yesterday at TTDI Maxis center, the cust svc never even ask for LTE or etc. Its auto detect. No extra forms, call cust svc or etc. Im using the 5Gb data plan. Maxis counter staff said once I exceed 5Gb my speed will be throttled down but wont incur additional cost. Hope that helps

What is wakelock? Is it something like the apps running in the background which I can prompt them on the right sidebar and swipe left to close them?

You can check your speaker eligibility status with them?? Does that means those who purchased not from Sony center but register before the redemption page closed can find out from them also ah?

Dual Capturing is the process of taking photos while a video recording is going on. The photos from this mode however is capped at 1mb size only. Its not great but its definately handy in certain occasions. Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard the HTC phones have a similar feature but the pix size is bigger at 4mb.

Why the other androids cannot turn off shutter sound meh? I switched from blackberry and that shit can't turn off the Damn sound. So glad of that little but really important change for some people

I couldn't tahan to wait for Maxis release with plan. Forked out rm2.2k for it. It's a really good phone but just wished I didn't pay so much for it. When Maxis plan eventually comes out, I will definitely feel a bit sad inside

I used my book voucher to buy a 9000mah power bank for RM299 at Radio Shack. Dvalo brand. Can fully charge my XZ from 0 to 100% twice with a tiny bit left somemore. full charge in 2 hours and 40mins. Fully charge the powerbank takes about 9 hours.

My XZ black has a full rubber border coating. I had a feeling that it was likely to get damaged like that and thus the reason I bought a cover for it. After spending a mini fortune on the phone, i cant bear to see it calar calar.

Did some research especially on that thin casing for XZ - can still use with the charging dock without removing the casing. Looks very promising. Found this video on Youtube too - its in Japanese but you get to see how it works well with the charging dock.

The user who posted the video who I think works for the casing company posted this in the Youtube comments:-

"Ultra Thin Cover Set is designed mainly to protect the device from scratches with the thinnest polycarbonate cover. It may break with shock and bend."

Well I'm fine with that, the phone itself is pretty sturdy imo. Just want to protect it from scratching the black rubbery borders and same time no hassle of removing casing to charge in dock

I would most certainly want this as well. Still holding back on buying a dock only because I want to keep my XZ covered. My phone malu to show skin

looks like a lot of people interested in a really thin casing to work wit their dock. But a little more research today from Singapore forum revealed that the charging dock can be a pain itself.

Apparently the way the dock is designed , it has the risk of scratching the side borders of the phone when u stick your naked phone into dock. Especially possible when push a bit rough or multiple usages. It's even worse for those using a back sp or that ultra thin casing because the two or three plastic levers/flaps press agaisnt the back of the XZ before it sits comfortably on the dock. So their advise in a nut shell don't use an ultra thin casing with the current design charging dock.

Many of them modify their dock like by using scotch tape or manually remove those extra levers. I honestly cannot confirm or deny any of those info on charging dock cos I haven't bought 1 yet. Can any charging dock users share their views on this matter pls. Cheers

Stillllllll waitinggggggg........ I feel like i got conned by Sony despite buying the phone early morning of 2nd day of launch. But at the MV fair and some shops were giving out the speakers on purchase sometime later.

That explains why i suddenly got1 bat of LTE last night at Bandar Menjalara. But that weak signal gone this morning
