I got this old xbox,Xbox 360 phat version and i got this Open Tray error.My xbox is unmodded.When i try to put original game on it but it just show open tray.i googled some fix for it but need to open xbox.i want to know if it's worth it to mod it since it got this open tray error.Should i send to the shop to mod it or just fix the open tray error.i am afraid that i hv to pay huge amount of money to fix it.i don't really like to pay much for a video game.

Theres nothing wrong with your console ejection tray. Its just that it wasnt updated to the latest dashboard version. Cant help you with the modding, since lyn is strictly anti-piracy.

So what i have to do now is just download latest xbox update from microsoft?Then copy the update file to usb>xbox>xbox update right?Then the Open Tray error will be fix right?

why not just plug the Ethernet cable directly to it?
