i've seen and heard foreigners at the jetty asking why all the ferry labeled Pulau Langkawi etc but none Pulau Pinang. their assumption was that the label will take them to other pulau's instead doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

so in order for me to put in use the small filter which i stupidly bought i should spend even more money and get an oil catch tank?

if i go get an oil catch tank, how should i attach it? from rocker cover/PVC to OCT and OCT to intake pipe? like this?

100cc/min x 60 = 6000cc or 6000ml or 6L for 110 km, that is 5.45L/100km which is extremely good, my Gaga can only do about 6.x or 7L/100km if I drive at 110 km/h notworthy.gif

I don't have the benefit of all the data you can read through your OBDII scanner and I wished I had one as well. Of course when you naik bukit FC per distance sure increase, there's nothing you can do about that whistling.gif What most people do is to tekan harder to maintain the same speed and I'm sure that if you hold the throttle at the same position or even release slightly it's more efficient than maintaining the same speed.

Actually when referring to the bicycle part I'm talking about much lower RPM, for example if you try and accelerate up a steep hill in 3rd gear at about 1500 RPM, at that RPM the poor engine cannot provide enough torque. At this point, the driver may WOT (wide open throttle), vacuum 0 inhg but even though the ECU sense WOT and flood the engine with lots of fuel, the car cannot accelerate. The correct thing is to downshift to 2nd, now the engine can rev to about 3000 RPM, closer to the peak torque and the driver doesn't have to WOT, so it's using less fuel than 3rd gear. Anyway 90 km/h is much too fast to shift into 4th gear, in fact for economical driving I shift to 5th at around 50-60 km/h on flat roads.
*
i guess this a bit explain why your FC is better than mine. i shift to 5th at 60-70(minimum) which means shifting at around 3k RPM. actually i shift at almost 3k RPM for each gear except 1st to 2nd gear. which is 2k++ and since i did not have a vacuum gauge, i estimate or have an imaginary one in my brain where i play around on how many relative centimeter i step down on the accelerator...

I think besides how high you rev before you shift up, equally important is how hard do you step to reach the shifting point. For example, you say you shift at 3k RPM. Do you tekan hard and then release at 3k RPM, or do you gently apply pressure and slowly ease the revs up to 3k RPM before you shift up? That makes quite a bit of difference IMHO.
*
i tested that also. i never tekan hard to reach 3k. slowly from none till 3-4cm then shift when reach almost 3k RPM..
if i tekan hard to reach 3k and shift really as you said, FC worsen...

As recommended by PJ SS2 Raytech, front/back better stick with normal tint below 50%. Coz JPJ most of the time will only kacau the front & back. The rest 4 doors not tangkap so much. Which is the reason why I maintain the stock tint on front/back instead. Another concern for rear tint is, tearing it off COULD cause your demister malfunction. Some of us rather stick 2 layer at the back instead of peeling off the stock tint, but has the risk of stock tint bubbled and both tint warranty will void at the same time.

FYI, most tint shop charge labor on removing old tint. My GaGa's tint was removed during PUSPAKOM inspeksen, and it was a super easy job. Use a knife, peel the side and tear the whole film out gao dim. No glue stain at all! I strongly suggest you do it first before sending over. Tell the tint shop guy you bought the car sekonhen already peel off original tint by previous owner whistling.gif Otherwise most probably they're gonna charge you RM50 for all 4 doors. Front windshield RM30. Rear winshield RM80(due to preserve of demister). If not mistaken, Raytech charge only RM50 to peel off ALL tint include front/back windshield. So you see what it fits la.

Before you go, give Sean a ring 017-6483398 say you're from LYN GaGa porum, get him feed you the best tint and best price. The last I heard was front/back windscreen + 4 doors RM180 WHOLE CAR!!!! Came with 3 years warranty + JPJ bao. If kena saman, go claim back Raytech plus they'll replace new film for you. If I remember correctly la. But so far even my safety film so thick also no problem going over road blocks. In fact just 2 weeks ago me & lhwj just go through a major road block in my car with no problem at all laugh.gif
*
i believe the road block was at the BJ roundabout at Cyrstal Point? brows.gif
