QUOTE(eikan @ Sep 17 2013, 09:07 AM) wah your setup really like the one i imagine chantek! so you bought online and as the mech install for ya? care to share/pm the workshop No Bro. I bought it from the Workshop itself (in Singapore). Noticed that it is available in few shops at JB also costing the same.... What I was suggesting is that you can get it cheaper if you buy online and get it installed (maybe for installation you need to pay RM50).

QUOTE(tehsarbat @ Jan 2 2014, 07:25 PM) mines this february hits two years, and thanks god still in a good condition, and we share the same colour. just wonder why they took out the sport rim for the spare tyre. Hi All, Any idea whether the Spare tyre holder can accommodate a 17inch Tyre and Rim? I upgraded only the 4 wheels, but recently when I had to change one of the tyres with the Spare tyre (which is 16 inch), had to take out the Brake Caliper cover which I fitted. Happy New Year to all the Chinese Brothers..... Regards

QUOTE(chulaisn @ Feb 7 2014, 04:17 PM) COSE did a reflash on my EB CFE in end Dec 13. I complained abt the engine dying off as soon as the gear selector is slotted into R. This happens only when doing 3 point turns, ie gear in D then into R quickly. It happens only on very few occasions. A month after reflash, engine do not die off when enter fr D to R, but instead engine jerk and die off while reversing (especially if the reversing gradient a little steep - in my case ,reversing up the carporch which has only a slight gradient .The engine / gears like spitting n coughing while Reversing. One other 'feature' that arise was that the engine remains at higher rpm of abt 1.2 - 1.6k when slowing down to a stop, the rpm tapering to lower rpm at much slower rate than before. The forward motion seem a little more smoother - only slightly. So for those eager for the reflash - maybe you prefer without. I wonder if I could revert to the old setting again?! On another matter on the EB CFE - anyone went to Genting can share. I know the car climbs effortlessly when going up whatever hills, but coming down, does the CVT gearbox hold on low gears all the way if travelling at slow to medium speed. You want to check whether the update carried out was successful or not? I had similar issues after the Update, with an additional issue like once in a while, when moving slowly in traffic jams, it felt like getting a gear sleep (even though there is no gear) feeling with a sound which others also can hear..... so I took it back to SC and they did reflash once again and everything got resolved.

Facing a new issue for my CFE...... Getting very strong Petrol smell inside the Car after running few KM. Initially I thought it is due to the Full tank I filled in, but then this is repeatedly occurring even after the Petrol gauge reduced by 1 tab. No visible leak outside or no sudden increase in Petrol consumption... Will be taking to SC soon.... (Done the 20k service last month) Any of your ride showing the same problem? Regards

QUOTE(airsirap @ Feb 13 2014, 08:56 AM) This is common problem for exora. Quick fix at SC is they put sealant near petrol cap Black color. Solved the issue for me. Took my ride to SC y'day. They went through a thorough check and couldn't find any Petrol leak. They also suspect that it might have contributed from the Petrol Cap area so done the Sealant and gave back to me after a few trial runs.... So far no issues..... still monitoring.

QUOTE(Chitwatt @ Feb 20 2014, 11:30 PM) Great Tip! But say...if say we found that the paint work has scratches, what next? we cant reject it...SA dont allow Since there is warranty... they are liable to correct any manufacturing issues. Paint work and those visible parts are the main ones we need to look for.... If any scratches or dent during delivery, ask SA to correct it or to document it down(obtain a copy also) and fix it during the 1st service. other teething problems if any, you can report it later (only thing is it should not be a case like got spoiled due to our misuse... like key not working due to drop... still arguable , or Side mirror broken due to our driving... etc..)
