QUOTE(akchang @ Nov 19 2013, 04:06 PM) I'm using this and no you do not gain 5-10% hp. it offers you free maintenance even though you need to wash them from now and then. open pod.. so far, will never go back to drop in filters. hahaha.. If you want to gain hp you may go for K&N open pod like zakinawi did. Btw zakinawi, any plans to tukar the whole exhaust system? exhaust system..maybe not.. will consume a lot of fuel.. by changing turbo downpipe will increase more power (future planning).. more power means more fuel.. more fuel means no more money to isi minyak oOO... the standard besi putih exhaust is more than enough.. why bother changing to stainless steel one.. mpv for family.. but at karak, drive like a car, take corner like sport car.. hehe.. but what i will do next time is custom grounding n VS.. got i fella in LYT selling the grounding.. use b4 at my old car, very satisfied.. |

[/quote] usually i will go outstation at pahang 2-3 times a month , drove at karak all the time so boring.. so far at corner which i have drove b4, exora (once lowered), stream n odessey imho very stable during corner.. alphard vellfire, feel like flying without wing.. mybe becoz of the height.. huhu.. but that damn peti ais(alphard/velfire) can easily climb the hill.. well.. ofcoz becoz of the 2.4/3.0 v6 engine.. but overall, im proud that still can catchup with them during the hill climb and the straight road.. hahaha.. who says exora for unker again.. im 29 lor.. hahahaaha.. but my fren already changed open pod n WORKS turbo downpipe for his exora.. what i'll say is, bye bye vellfire... speed no.1, comfort no.2.. hehehehe.. i wonder if he install racechip, how fast it'll go.. hurm... ingatlah org tersayang, pandulah dengan cermat akchang, how much damage for the autofoam? |

QUOTE(Sampo @ Nov 20 2013, 08:34 PM) What's the benefit of installing grounding wire? Saw some shop selling less than RM50 while some shop selling RM300. u buy cheap rm 50? better u pegi isi minyak or makan mcd... who ever sell it is lying coz selling that super fake stuf.. i rather do a custom set that using a proper wire rather than using the cheap HKS at acc shop.. HKS original japan price almost 300, |

QUOTE(Sampo @ Nov 23 2013, 12:03 AM) For being not an expert, I still might be paying RM300 for a RM50 quality. How do I know the grounding cable is good quality type? https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1495749theres a different regarding the thickness of the wires..the thicker, the better, but more expensive..the core of the wire is the most important.. hard to find acc shop which is jujur enough to tell all abt this.. EA autoworks gives the advice.. |

QUOTE(ir5 @ Dec 5 2013, 11:15 AM) already come back to the tyre shop yesterday..btw, the squeeching sound seems to be lesser yesterday (before went to the same tyre shop)....they opened the front wheels and recheck the BENDIX installation...nothing wrong with it...they suspected due to my disk already got deep groove due to previous pads (my ignorance maybe...) and they said nothing much can do expect either re-skin (RM60 each side) or buy new disc brake (ratus2)...huhhu since i just changed the tyre to a good one..so i said next time la.. ;p so far...today the annoying sounds lesser..hope will dissapeared in future ;p michellin mmg la bagus... mahal.. huuuhuuu... poket empty nanti.. btw, pakai bendix will usually have the squeeching sound.. it got the grip, but with the squeeching sound, not very comfortable lah.. even my rear brake, i change with Cap ayam brand pads, make the squeeching sound.. cheap but with the sound, i think i'll change to the original back.. even if its much more expensive... btw...i really recommend u guys michelin tyre (a bit expensive but good quality)...really smooth, comfort and grip in rain (since it's raining season now)...so far satisfied with it and way too different with GT radial...huhuhuhu i'm enjoying my ride last but not least, have a nice day ahead guys |
